MANAGERIAL SUMMARY
Background
Preliminary research showed that the acceptance of a new technology is most commonly referred to the diffusion of an innovation. Sources stated that in order for an innovation to diffuse, the members of society being introduced to the technology should have some sort of common knowledge or interest in the topic. Because of the differences in lifestyle occurring due to demographics such as income, age, sex and occupation it can be assumed that demographics would play a part in the ability of an idea to be diffused.
Objectives and Methodology
A study was conducted in order to examine the effect demographics may have on acceptance and adaptation to MP3 technology. Secondary data was collected from the internet, where journal and articles were found from many links. Surveys were collected from students at school during class room time and from other participants during their days. Secondary data led to articles and journals from many website and links
