In the article Dr. Martin Luther King Jr uses pathos throughout his speech to strengthen his argument that American involvement in the Vietnam war is unjust. In the speech Martin Luther King says that the Vietnam war was unjust for many reasons one things that he said was that people were sending their brothers and husbands to go fight and die for others, as in the speech it says “It was sending their sons and their brothers and their husbands to fight and to die in extraordinarily high proportions relative to the rest of the population”.
