A pediatrician is a physician that provides medical care for babies, children, teenagers and young adults. Pediatricians provide treatment for diseases; treat minor illnesses like the common cold or physical injuries. Chemistry is used by pediatricians all the time when they are completing their duties. They use chemistry when they prescribe medicine to patients. They calculate to find the amount of medicine that will stay in the patient’s body. Performing different medical test for example a blood test, requires the use of chemistry. Pedestrians do this kind of test all the time to help them determine if there is something wrong with the patient. They also use chemistry in college because they have to take a year of basic chemistry to be admitted in medical school.
