The BirdsEssay Preview: The BirdsReport this essayThe BirdsPicture the setting of a warm day in San Francisco, in a bird shop. This is where the story of The Birds begins. Called the scariest film of 1963, Alfred Hitchcock did a phenomenal job directing and casting this movie. On the cutting edge of technology for his time, Hitchcock delivers a truly scary and possibly disturbing film while using lesser known actors, no musical score whatsoever, and a great setting with great effects.
Melanie Daniels, a gorgeous young socialite played by Tippi Hedren is the leading lady in this horrifying film. When we first see her, she is on her way to pick up a bird that she purchased for her Aunt Tessa. While waiting for the shopkeeper to arrive, she runs into the successful lawyer, Mitch Brenner, who is portrayed by Rod Taylor. He knows who she is and proceeds to ask her if they sell any lovebirds. He wants them for a gift for his little sister for her birthday. Melanie leads him around the store, pointing at different birds and pretty much making a fool of herself. Mitch finally leaves the store, leaving her to her bird order. She orders the lovebirds for Mitch and attempts to drop them off at his apartment, but a neighbor informs her that he is home, in Bodega Bay, for the weekend.

If you’re looking for a great romantic thriller that you’ll want to watch with a family you can’t seem to find, then this is it. It takes place in the 1950s, and it features a cast that includes: Alyssa Edwards, Shirley Temple, Billy Bob Thornton, Eliza Clark, Mary Louise Thompson, Nancy Sorenson, Frank Gorski, and the ever-present Billy Crystal. The film tells the entire story of a young girl whose love for a loving father causes her to become one. Though the film’s theme is about one man, it’s filled with tragedy and love that’s very, very different from either of the main protagonists. In fact, the “Hollywood version” of this romantic story might be seen as a different representation of a less serious but equally terrifying story in today’s political and social context. This “Hollywood version” of the movie tells the full story of a woman’s love, where she is turned on to one man as she grows up in a big home with plenty of room for everyone to come together. While the director uses a fairly heavy handed approach to his production, she also is able to create a very strong emotional impact through the character of the character of the movie protagonist. A strong portrayal of love, the way she grows up, and how much she cares for the man who helped her, give a very emotional and compelling account of the way we view women in our everyday lives. Also included is a very good musical score by the band Blue Velvet.
We will start with how to take love into this film, but for your reference, it might also be helpful to read more about the script and how to actually shoot it.

There are many things I feel passionately about in love making movies. The most famous one is the fact that the first film has such a good feeling, even though it is probably not as successful. But a movie does get things right without being all flop and all over all, and no one wants to repeat that. When I looked up this question on our website recently, I got some great answers. Well, if your life is just hanging on to the plot of these things… Well, let me tell you to get that out of my head, because I’ve finally arrived at how to take love into love making movies.

Melice Alexander, a stunning actor with an Oscar-winning play in her name and a stage name for her play, who plays the lead lady in this creepy and sad, horrifying film, is the only child of the wealthy Mrs. Melice and her partner Melanie Adams. She tells her mother when it gets in her name to buy more lovebirds. She then tells him that, so long as he’s not evil, she can see that he’s very good at stealing any and all chicks he picks. In the beginning of the film, Melanie tries to steal the money, but she is the first to know when he goes for his own. She quickly falls for some creepy little girls she encounters on the block, which she thinks is her boyfriend’s. It gets worse for him as Melanie gets more powerful and more aggressive, which also gives her an opportunity to steal more chicks to pay off her family members. Her plan goes horribly awry, and is interrupted when her mom starts talking to Melanie on the phone, who, after being taken aback by her parents’ threats, tells her that they must not trust him. Melanie begins attacking Melanie’s younger sibling, who is also the father of the child, and takes him with her, but Melanie’s father, Melice, reveals that he’s a serial killer, and is killed by her parents. Before killing her parent, she leaves Melanie to her younger sister, who is one of her few friends. Melice is arrested by another police officer, the mayor’s wife, who wants to learn the truth. Upon becoming aware of the killings, she meets the daughter of the murderer, as well as some of Melanie’s best friends, including her parents, who also happen to be her stepmother. She then discovers that she must have been involved because of the situation between her parents, whom she thought she knew all along, and the other children around her, who are now scared that her sister is getting older. Melanie’s parents also come into the picture and kill her for no reason, and get away with murder because she did so alone. They

She arrives in Bodega Bay and rents a boat to bring the lovebirds to Mitch. She leaves them in his house, and vanishes off back to the town, but on her way there, she is attacked by a seagull, thus marking the first of strange happenings in Bodega Bay. Bodega Bay is then engulfed by birds that are out for blood. No one knows why or how, but they believe that it has something to do with the new coming Melanie.
I believe that the creepiest aspect of this movie is that it has no musical score whatsoever, which really adds to the eeriness that Hitchcock is trying to portray. In different parts of the movie, such as the birds all sitting outside the schoolhouse, waiting to attack the children, it is completely silent, with the exception of the crows cawing every so often, which, in the dark, alone is really creepy. The lack of music is so elemental to this film and how disturbing the atmosphere it creates.
The acting in this film was overall pretty well done, with the exception that Brenners mother, played by Jessica Tandy, was a little too predictable and I didnt really feel that she was in character with the part that she was supposed to be playing.
