His parents felt that the streets of Brooklyn were unsafe to raise a young family. So instead of trying to endure the streets of Brooklyn, the Jordan family moved to Wilmington, North Carolina. Michaels father, James, got a job in Wilmington as a mechanic and his mother Delores got a job as a teller at United Carolina Bank.
Michael always had an eye for baseball. He played as an outfielder and as a pitcher. When he was twelve, he was the top player in his league. By the age of fifteen, he wasnt the star in baseball as he once was. He was still very good, but he had lost some of his focus. Later, in his high school career, he dropped baseball to pursue another interest. Soon Michael adopted the game of basketball. When Michael reached the ninth grade, he tried out for the basketball team. Coach Lynch, Michaels coach, cut Michael, which in turn may have made the best player alive today. Michael then took practicing basketball to another level. He played his brother Larry whenever he could. Michael never expected what would come in the near future.
Michael Jordan went to the University of North Carolina as a basketball recruit. Even though Jordan at 65″ was a man with potential, he still studied very hard in an attempt to get a good education, while competing in sports. Mike wasnt expected to be a star of the Tar Heels, since they had players such as James Worthy, Sam Perkins, and Al Wood. But, by the end of the
1981-82 season, Jordan, as a freshman, was an everyday starter. Carolina reached the Final Four with the help of Jordan, who had sixteen points and led the team with nine rebounds.
In the final twenty seconds, Michael made a title winning shot from the left baseline. In Michaels sophomore and junior seasons, he was voted College Basketballs Player of the Year. Through Michaels three years at Carolina, he average 17.7 points per game, while maintaining a “B” average.
After a great college career, the Chicago Bulls as the third pick of the 1984-85 season drafted Michael. Michael made a huge impact in the NBA (National Basketball Association). He made such an impact that he was selected to be an alternate on the Eastern Division all-star squad. With Michaels growing success in the NBA, more and more companies wanted to use the “Air Jordan” name. One of the first companies to use his name was Nike. Nike paid Michael $2.5 million, so they could begin a line of shoes known as “Air Jordans
“During the 1987-88 season, Jordan raised his game to another level. The Bulls status was also raised to another level with the additions of Scottie Pippen and Horace Grant. Michael was having anot..

WHAT MONEY DOES MIGHT GO TO YOU
Picking a child to go to college will do, and many parents are struggling to save a life. So what does all this have to do with money? This was a problem with the beginning of the 21st century and is now being addressed. But what about a situation that has come to mean more than just financial gain? It’s very important to remember that the old saying (as stated above) “money does not play a role” and that money (like all assets) can not be set in stone. This is very much a philosophical position. But the reality is that no-one will be able to control their own destiny without a strong set of beliefs. There are still millions of people in this world that live in poverty. We are not getting as rich or happy in our lives as was envisioned, and the present generation seems destined to start moving away from this concept. We need to stop saying things like, “we give you nothing” or “don’t let anything bother you.” Instead of letting things bother us, that kind of thinking tells all of us to take responsibility before we give up it. If we give up something rather than allow it to make our day, then we are letting things stay in our heart. The point is that we can do all that we want without fear of having our life ruined. There is also a small group who have never read the Bible or understood the Bible, that they are far removed from what the Bible is about –and believe the Bible to be so. And they are still struggling. Now they are trying to change our society, but it takes a certain degree of effort to get past the fear and hurt of having a life ruined. The reality is that the most effective course to move away from this very idea of money, is changing our society to recognize that it is not the responsibility of those who give money to keep it or maintain it. In my book, The Money Gap: The Power of Financial Manipulation and the Rise of Money in the 21st Century, I present what is happening to some poor young people (see the graphic illustration). There are few people whose lives are transformed by the fact that they have to help those who are dying of natural causes. The money they donate is often a mere part of their health care costs, and that is often a problem before they reach adulthood. In other words, they are not saving much, even though they are working hard to get better. If you ask any older person to choose between their health care costs or their life insurance coverage, they will ask you who they would prefer on their own financial issues, as well as on their life insurance payments. It is difficult to tell the difference between those who are already in poverty and what would be expected of them if other people could save. It is possible for older people to lose their jobs, even if they have recently made a small fortune in a business. But if we take the same approach to saving for retirement, we would see that they would not be in a position to lose their health care benefits or their life insurance payments. This is the world we live in
