This experiment may see a little drastic, but a lot of Americans do eat fast food 3 times a day 7 days a week. In the movie he also interviewed gym teachers, to see if kids in America get enough exercise in a week, nutritionists, to see how many times a person should actually eat fast food, and doctors, to see if what happened to his liver could actually happen. Doctors never thought it was possible but apparently it is they had just never seen it happen before. They did not expect cirrhosis of liver to happen with fast food, because it usually happens with alcoholics.
