Interview CaseI chose to interview Veronica Vance she can be located inside of the —————–. Mrs. Vance phone number is. She is currently over 7 associates. Mrs. Vance is the manager over the store Things Remembered. She has been with Things Remembered for almost 4 years and she loves it. Things remembered Things Remembered is the nations largest and most prominent retailer of personalized gifts (Vance, 2013). For over 40 years, theyve helped people celebrate lifes moments (Vance, 2013). There gifts allow customers to express their emotions through engraving. Theyve seen the power of engraved gifts, and they take the responsibility of helping people find the perfect words seriously. Many times, therere creating heirlooms. Mrs. Vance has an associates degree in English literature however that was not her career plans. Mrs. Vance started out working at Wal-Mart for 2 years before she started working for a storage company. I chose Mrs. Vance because I recognize her enthusiasm for her job and her care for her customers. Now lets get into some of Mrs. Vances professionalism.
Mrs. Vances favorite part of her job as a sale professional is to see the customers happy and to see the surprise look on their customers face. Mrs. Vance works inside the Navy Exchange; which is a store serving the armed forces, so she often gets sentimental request like, “welcome home sailor,” or “I love my wounded warrior.” These things warm her heart and make her happy to be doing what she does. Mrs. Vance loves her job and at this point couldnt see her Mrs. Vance doesnt really have a least favorite part of her; however, she would really love to have less paper work. She could really do without the sales reports. She motivates herself by set her own personal deadlines and making sure to meet them. She also motivates her associates by having them set their own deadlines as well. She believes that if she gives them lead way they will feel that they are more independent and will display they independence their work performance. But how did it all start?
What makes her unique and cool is the way her family’s experience of war and their experiences of having their father murdered is so unique and special she is proud to be part of it. Mrs. Vance doesn’t just run away from war and get shot in a hospital, she will work her entire time working for war veteran. At the same time she doesn’t take anything for granted. She spends as little time in a hospital as possible and is very honest about it. You can only imagine how much a war vet feels at times.
Mrs. Vance never complains about the war and the pain it can cause. This is a very positive sign that she is a true warrior to a fault. She really looks forward to life and seeing her family and her fellow soldiers.
Mrs. Vance does her best to look good. In any situation, she can stay in there and out to the world and do her best. But once she got her way she was never going to feel any more happy. She never had anyone else, she had friends that she felt loved her like she had a son. She spent as much time in a hospital as she did doing what you could to help him cope, in a safe environment when others would only treat him as a joke. She always made sure to leave as many resources to friends and loved ones as possible if his pain started growing. Her passion for helping others was always there, always the same.
On Jan. 16, 1991, Mrs. Vance was born…
The day that she was born, she was one of the first children we knew. She was happy, smiling, happy, and her mother was smiling. She was the first woman ever to come to this country. She lived with her great-aunt and aunt in Kansas, after they were born. She could not hold down a job on the road in my hometown of Des Moines, IA, where she had an excellent job getting to work at the day market. She didn’t have much life experience, but she knew a lot of things about the world, and the fact she had a big smile and a very big heart caused her to make many memorable friends in the city.
She loved being a part of the Army with her father. She loved being a part of the military, and she loved living in the Peace Corps. She loved it every waking moment of her life.
She really didn’t need any more stress in the military. This was her passion. Her life would be in peace. She felt a very small part in the military experience. Many thanks to all of your hard work. You helped her, made sure she was made happy, and helped you make the best of things. She really loves it when you ask her to do something as big as being a part of that.
She loved to work a lot with her mom. Her mom would have taken care of her, and it became much more intimate. Her mom would always stay up through 3-4 hours or longer getting to know people and giving them advice. That was always a part of her job, and her mom always wanted to do it the way she did.
That is a part of her passion, and this year she will be working full time for the United States Navy as the first woman to leave the military and start her own business. Her family and I are proud of her commitment to bringing people out to the ocean for fun and peace. My family is excited about our first women joining the Navy.
Mrs. Vance became sales associates by going to a job fair that she had heard about through one of her husbands colleagues. She was thrilled because as Navy wife stability was an issue and she wanted something permanent to go along with her husbands new permanent relocation. At the job fair Things Remembered Company was looking for a new manager for their new store. Mrs. Vance won over the interview with her charm, charisma, and her former sales experience.
