Batman Story
Batman Story
As Batman walks through the dark tunnel on the train tracks, he crouches and begins searching for clues. “Its not a subtle catastrophe, commissioner. Train wrecks usually arent.” Batman says with great preeminence. Although the commissioner is very shocked at his presence, he is even more shocked at the comment made, then he says, “Thats not what I meant.” The commissioner is feeling threatened from the presence of Batman and begins to wonder how he got there. “With half the force around somebody must have spotted you…” says the commissioner as he looks down into the barely lit tunnel staring at Batman, “Before youre closer to me than my own damn shadow.” Batman begins to search even harder as he knows he does not have much time before more officers close in to check up on the commissioner. As Batman bends down to pick something from the side of the train tracks he says, “Now, Jim…” pausing as he crouches down, “You know I like shadows.” As he comes up from the ground the commissioner notices that Batman is holding something that he had failed to notice and begins to wonder what it is. Batman studies the evidence while trying to decide what action to take next. The commissioner looks up at Batman still shocked at his presence and says, “Thats not the point.” Batman realizes that his time is winding down and distracts the commissioner while escaping down the tunnel the other way going as fast as he can. The commissioner turns around just in time to see Batmans silhouette far away towards the end of the tunnel
