Taking Advantage of VolunteeringEssay Preview: Taking Advantage of VolunteeringReport this essayTaking Advantage of VolunteeringToday most people take volunteering for granted, not knowing that without it our communities would not be where they are now. Some of us go along everyday overlooking the benefits volunteering bring to our community. For instance, many of my peers and the students around campus look over all the help volunteering provides to the people around the town. I know this because I am one person who has not put much effort into volunteering. I see it going on all around me, but I can not say that I have done much in the community to help. I know there are a thousand reasons why I should be more involved, but there seem to be a million reasons why I have not gotten around to it.
On VolunteeringToday
I have had the opportunity to have the chance to contribute to and learn from volunteering in the community. I saw the joys, and the challenges, many many of my peers and members experienced and many of them asked for. This is what I see so clearly, how all groups see to their success to help others and all groups must see themselves that way.
On VolunteeringToday
I have made a living working on a range of projects, working on project management, learning about community service projects, working on our projects, and helping people. I know it is important that I live up to my potential to benefit the people I love. As a volunteer, I am able to do this all I want in a way more pleasant and productive. Here I am with a camera and a smartphone, both of which offer greater than my full capacity for doing what I love.
