The music industry is one of the largest in our country. Think about how many millions, or possibly billions of dollars it generates each year. Everyone enjoys some type of music and most likely has a few favorite artists. Music has been a part of cultures since the time of man also. We are raised around it and enjoy it a lot of ways, either going to see your favorite band play at a concert or just going out and buying their album.

We as people are the largest contributors to the music industry. We buy compact discs, clothes, and all sorts of merchandise to support our favorite artists. The music industry gets promoted by television networks such as MTV and gains massive amounts of media attention in the process. The digital age of television and internet has made it easier than ever for the media to advertise new singers, and rappers, making them famous overnight. If Gladwell thinks life is about epidemics, then Im sure he would agree that the music industry is a large one in our society.

It seems like some of the newer artists like Lady Gaga, Lil Wayne, Jay-Z and Katy Perry became famous almost overnight. The music industry and the media combined seem to have that kind of power. She has many fans that are young girls and her lyrics seem a little too sexual for minors. Yet they still listen to her. Does this level of fame make it okay to be this way? In some societies I think people would say yes, that it does. When somebody reaches this level of fame in the music industry think about how they got there. Maybe these singers and songwriters have the talent but its really odd to see them in the limelight so quick. Like I said, the media will promote the artists to the point that they are household name.

When I was in high school, I read about a secret society group called the Illuminati. They are said to be in control of the music industry and hold a lot of power in the media. Many of the artists can be seen in their videos representing the Illuminatis hand signs and having their Satanic symbols displayed in the background. I dont know if any of this is true but if you read into it, it starts to make a great deal of sense. If you ever look closely, in Lady Gagas videos, you can see goats heads on the walls and a checkered black and white tile floor. Its possible that these two items could be just mere decorations. However, the goats head is a symbol of the Lucifer, and the black and white checkered floor is a symbol of the Illuminati.

I have heard that Lady Gaga is their latest puppet. The
