Muslim Empire Trade
The Muslim empire expanded rapidly between the years 650 CE and 800 CE. The empire was based on different subjects and tools that helped it expand and maintained its expansion. Trading and religion were two of these sources that contributed to distend of the empire, both are indeed good sources. In my opinion, the Muslim empire expanded because of the benefits of trade and lack of resistance in the conquered territories.

The trade between Muslims and the empires of the Middle East made a profitable trade network. This trade was over land and sea. There were routes to India, China, Byzantine, Arabia, Northwest Africa, Egypt, Black Sea, and Southwest Persia. The Muslims would trade things they had enough of and didnt really need a lot of with others to get any goods or tools they needed. Among these goods were sugar, silk, silver, gold, topaz, and most importantly was salt, which was what the Islamic culture traded gold for. This trade system was a win win situation. Both sides of the party gained and profited something. Even the conquered territories resisted to this because they were also profiting from this.

Trade was a very good and positive thing in the Muslim Empire. This system causes less enemies, problems, and tension between countries and cities, but more likely caused friendships and allies. They all had each others back and protected each other because they all profited from one another. If there was tension between two groups, they wouldnt be able to get what they needed. Also, if there was problems between one group inside the trade system and with an outside group, the other groups might not be able to trade because what they logged to trade for might be in jeapordy.

You might think that the expansion of the Muslim Empire was because of its religion. You might believe that the believe that Islam was the best religion, and that accepting Islam would help them lead a better life helped the expansion of the empire,
