Education is very important for everyone’s future when it comes to finding ones career for it. Self discovery is the main role in education so that people can discover what they want to do with the education they’ve gained . During the large amount of years in school, children learn the main basics of math , reading , and test preperation. Along with the curriculum children “experience life through the eyes of other people in other times and other places”(Ravitch,111). More than just math and reading kids are being taught about different things going on around the world and different cultures which some can relate too. In schools children have the opportunity to do activities like draw,paint,dance and band. With these activities children can discover and express themselves in what they enjoy doing along with the education. Moreover, the purpose of education is to take in what you are learning and apply it
