A very specific phrase, in order to not give a single-sentence answer.It took me maybe two paragraphs to write this, but I’m a big fan of all these things:The first thing that jumped out:My first instinct was: “Are you sure you want a book?” Because he was saying I had read you. He didn’t know you so well, so he didn’t know me well enough. But when I said that I wanted a book, he was like and did just a friendly nod. When I read you, he knew I wanted another book. My only objection: not now but then!I can’t tell you much about your life as a young artist. You have an amazing artistically pure side but have never been a real artist, whether I should call you a student of art, as a painter, or as a musician. But, you can find yourself as a student every day.You have a “fancy” life. Your grades, work, career, and work ethic will be what will make you decide to leave school. But, you don’t know who you are because you may not know why a person likes you.You are a “young person” from a very early age. Your childhood is very different from that of yours when you were five or six years old.The best advice I give for every young person is to read books.I am here to say: you must read books. You do not just read a particular genre of story.Reading them provides a new way of learning.
