U.S. National DeficitEssay Preview: U.S. National DeficitReport this essayOur National DeficitThe national deficit is the amount of money our government owes, or the difference between the government expenditure and income. The government comes up with this number by using the federal budget. This takes the amount of the government’s income and subtracts their expenditures from that particular number. Whatever the total for the day is gets added to the total national debt, and it builds and grows daily. There is a difference between the national deficit and the national debt. The National Debt stands for Total Un-funded federal debt, divided by the total amount of federal borrowing. It is the national debt the United States borrowed to pay for our own wars. Our budget is based on this number of dollars: $13,483,099,482 per year, which is where we are on this page. The next question is how much is a government expenditure that is paid to other people? It may not seem like much, but all governments pay a certain amount, which is the total amount of their public spending on their public programs.

The total amount of Government funding that is considered public spending to this day and on which we are concerned is: $14,000,000 per year, or $4,941,000 in 2015, of which $3,200,000 goes to this program, $1,100,000 that we’ve used for research, public housing, health and welfare programs, $400,000 that we have used in other kinds of programs, and the rest for other purposes.

“The National Debt is the amount of money that has been borrowed to buy all the Government government expenditures. Over a period of five years, some portion of that amounts has gone out of this administration, others not. Since the government cannot actually sell these outlays it is actually paying off most of them back.

“To help with the problem of the national debt, it is very important that we understand how this National Debt actually does exist, what is in it, and why it does this. This National Debt is not a money supply, but rather a budget, a set of budgetary policies designed to increase the number of people that can get out of the poverty line. It is the budget that is actually being debated. What government should be spending is money that it needs to build new social programs and social security programs. You are not spending money. You are paying it to use the government. You aren’t doing it because it is a government program.
