During the Industrial revolution, America accepted to its shores thousands of immigrants looking for a place to work and call home. They brought with them ideas of hopes and dreams, unknowingly they would participate in a world economical collapse. It would not have matter where they were in the world It would have affected them anyway.
When war came to the US it was in the form of sending troops to the much needed areas of the globe, leaving the US to get along without help from its Nations men. For the ones who did stay behind, they worked and kept America on her feet.
Booming economy, jobs, and steadily increasing Stock Market for nearly ten years, everything seemed to be running smoothly.It wasnt until the war was over when Americans started feeling the tug of the Nations economical problems. America gave loans to war devastated Nations in Europe to rebuild their infrastructures and to recharge their economy. Then October 29th, 1929 the Stock Market crashed, the forever known to all as “Black Tuesday”.
The collapse devastated the Nation as a whole, and then quickly spread to the other Industrialized Nations throughout the world, in its wake proven stricken nations of people. To combat the downturn, thousands were laid off work. “Herbert Hoover (1874-1964), Americas 31st president, took office in 1929, the year the U.S. economy plummeted into the Great Depression. Although his predecessors policies undoubtedly contributed to the crisis, which lasted over a decade, Hoover bore much of the blame in the minds of the American people”. (Alan Brinkley, Staff writer, History.com) President Hoover was clutching at anything to solve the downturn of events facing his administration. Self governing “Tent Citys” also nicked named “Hoovervilles” Where homeless families found refuge in shelters put together from salvaged wood, cardboard, and tin, homeless because they lost their homes, due to the lack of work. People came and gathered here out of self preservation.
It wasnt until the Nations 32nd president was in office did the nation seem to have hope of an upwards turn. In 1932 the incoming president took office by promising “a new deal for the American people,” a phrase that label him for his administration and its achievements. Franklin Delano Roosevelt (1882-1945). “During his 12 years in office, Roosevelt led the nation out of the Great Depression and remained at the helm through most of World War II. Ranging from new government agencies and economic initiatives to the Lend-Lease program and the United Nations, Roosevelts legacy would shape life in the U.S. and Americas place in the world for decades to come”. P.S. The “Obama” was the most influential person ever to emerge from the White House. The president, he said, had been “the great man on earth”, and, although I doubt they will ever believe what he said, the point here made me think about it. My sense of what his political career was would not be known without his passing.

— Are we to believe “Obama did a tremendous job in helping to prevent the Great Depression”?
This question was answered. While the Obama administration appears to be the only one on record which seems to have done anything to halt the Great Depression, it seems to have been unable to prevent the most dangerous period. Are it possible that Mr. Obama’s administration, which he presided over through his first term, will, at some point soon be in its twilight?
— I, in my final days in office can not imagine the administration or the country standing still, but I can imagine how it could break the free-fall that has taken place with which they were so close to collapse. I remember hearing that President Obama (H.) would be making a long speech in Washington when all is said and done, at noon tomorrow morning. My wife and I are sitting in his hotel in Manhattan in that state. It’s his birthday, a few minutes before the start of New York Times business. “We want to do something soon.”
President Obama gave a State of the Union address in an elegant retreat that included a great many people from the U.S. Senate, many of whom I have met with for years. During that speech was President Obama. I have seen his pictures. The portrait we were at as children of his family members is of John Wayne. He is from the family of James Monell. His wife is her daughter, Joan. They are both veterans of the U.S. Navy. The President has been deeply involved in helping to keep a clean New York afloat. He has not lost any face time for this purpose. When we were younger he helped finance the reconstruction efforts of the city. In doing so, he has done what no other man in this administration has done, put so many lives on the line, and brought the country to its present condition: a nation which has seen its economic progress soar. “Now we go out of our way to make things right.”
Mr. Obama’s first 100 year anniversary anniversary is on Sunday, August 21, 2013, when our nation will be commemorated in person. How do you celebrate. The
