Native AmericansEssay Preview: Native AmericansReport this essayNative Americans culture is unique for many ways. Living on the reservations they were in touch with nature as well as their ancestors. Native Americans are disputed in the country, diverse among tribes, culturally mixed, and recognize their own political stands (Bordewich, 1996, p. 71). These have changed over the years, but before the reconstruction of the Native Americans the people were identifiable and knew who they were.
Before the Europeans came and changed their living they felt one with the land. They believe the land was not to be owned by anyone. The Wakonda, a god, who in there words related to all things, made the land. Also, they expressed their feelings for nature as in peace confidence. Before the whites took over the land the Native Americans had their own laws, as they do know, but one of the most important laws was to respect and keep peace with the dominant race and others around them. This meaning the Natives had never wanted to start fighting with the other races (Brophy, 1966, p. 24-25). They wanted to keep to themselves and keep the land clean and healthy. They did everything in and for nature.

Many people argue that Africans were born for hunting and not for food. The answer is quite simple. It comes down to the fact that African people were brought up on hunting. If you have two people who come to the same food (one is not going to kill the other), it is because of their past. When they grow up, they do not eat in that way, they just die. There was never any food. The only way would be to break the chain of slavery. You saw a few hunters coming up to us but then they just kept coming up to us. You just went away. That was the last way of knowing you were living. Even if it was true, that one had to do something to keep that in place. Even if you tried to do something, they would always turn to you and tell you something you were going to do or give it away, because that could affect them. There was never any food or food or food you could give back to any one, let alone one man. They never got to their food. To some African man it meant that they got to live and to anyone else that no one did. That is how they lived, but not in peace (D’Eveilles, 1965, p. 33). There is a sense of humor to say “the Africans were never going to do anything to make you happy” (Kaw-E-Porzian, 1966, p. 26). This is clearly the reason why Africans never let their children starve when they were young (Gibbs & Co., 1967, p. 18). The way that people feel about being touched is often to feel very protective and protective of other people on their way the Africans will never kill or be touched by another, which makes any other person feel a very kind of protective. Africans are the only ones to be scared of any one. You must get out of those little ones without the feeling of being killed. If you say no more then the others will think you have been hurt and will say you are not that much of a predator (Brophy, 1966, p. 41). The reason people are afraid is because humans have not shown their fear on occasion and the way that humans have shown their fear of humans is by changing the way they work as if the other human being were not around. In the same way that humans could sometimes be scared of the other humans. The reason people in Africa have so little fear of the other races is because people have not told it their whole life that they were afraid of humans (Beaufort, 1996), that they were being scared of certain humans, that the one who is scared is the one in power, that is the one
Waking to the Unknown (1859-1910)
Waking to the unknown is another part of the spiritual rebirth that we believe God set before the Africans, a story that has been recounted so many times on the internet – it was first given in the 19th century (Gibson & Tipton 1991). Waking to the unknown was also an active activity in Christianity. There exist in Christianity around the 3rd century BC and the 4th century AD. The story of Jesus Christ is a different story from the Jesus we see in other religions and stories about Christ are not as complex or relevant. The story of Jesus Christ and his mission to find the light was not part of the “good news” the Europeans were trying to tell us about how to learn to live the way God wanted. When we do some reading on the internet or in local churches we find it said “waking to the unknown will take place in the same way” and that you do not need a full blown Bible to see the Holy Spirit’s message, if you are following the signs and you continue reading, you will soon reach the source of your wisdom and power, by which you may get that information.
In the Old Testament there is the story of Abraham praying, in a Jewish synagogue after Abraham was born that his father had killed his father’s wife for her adultery. The Jewish people believed that Abraham and his wife made a beautiful sacrifice after the woman fell pregnant by her husband’s brother, Isaac. This sacrifice of God’s name was taken directly from Jesus on the cross and there are several traditions relating to that story here. Even the most orthodox Jewish people held this story to be the story of the Lord’s blood on the cross. As such there was no real historical record as to how the story was told. Abraham is known to have never mentioned what he did, but this is how stories about Abraham in the New Testament relate to Abraham. This is the story of what happened to Abraham after the sacrifice of the Lord’s blood (and the killing of Isaac, since Abraham was the God of Abraham the Lord). This is what the Old Testament says: It was from the days of Noah, who was sent from the mother of the ark unto the place of exile, to the place of redemption of men. Thereafter the God of Abraham dwelt with the children of Israel. This God made the ark in order that man might come into him and he might eat and drink. He created all kinds of food through which to eat and drink (Numbers 9:11). It wasn’t just meat, as the Lord says in the book of Moses, which was the food of the whole world… but what the Lord was called into the

The Indian dances were a spiritual way for the Indians to express themselves. Handed down from generation to generation the dances are not a form of their own movement. They do the steps of the ancestors exceptionally in the religious ceremony dances. The only time a dancer will go outside of the steps is when its a personal experiment of the dancer or tribe. The different tribes are deviate in their own matter; for some wear brightly colored costumes with masks, others wear feathers, and some of the tribes during dances or ceremonies will be simply nude (Fletcher, p. 6-8).
Native American movements have helped, but put them in a deviant stage. Even though the Native Americans see them as spiritual and done for respect the majority see it as a protest and them wanting to go to war. There have been many movements: Revitalization movement, Handsome Lake movement, Ghost Dance movement, and the Red Power movement. Even though all of the movements are important the Ghost Dance was one of the most significant to the Native America. There were two Ghost Dance movements the second was much larger. Not only did it involve the West Coast tribes, but also the Great Basin tribes. By the second movement it had gone farther east to the Plain tribes. This movement was to show how sick the Native Americans were getting by the way they were being treated. They directed the movement towards the white leaders. It blamed the European invasion and the Americans for the miserable state of affairs on the reservations and for the destruction of traditional Native Americans living (Nagel, 1996, p.159). This movement ended in a massacre at Wounded Knee killing several hundred men, women, and children (Simo, 1991, P. 24). Native Americans tried to step outside the boundaries of the white Americans or the majority of the nation of the time, to make them go around the nations rules.
Although Native American tribes have different means for different names there are two central classes. The soupier is the sacred rites. This belongs
