Breakthrough in NanotechnologyEssay Preview: Breakthrough in NanotechnologyReport this essayWith this technology being perfected in the near future scientists will have to overcome certain obstacles to our fast healing bone breakages substance. With this substance being practically, used scientists will have solved components. (Holley, S. E. (2009).)
The first component would be if our substance will be no be rejected by the body. The must be able to withstand the substance in our bloodstream and other parts of our body. (Holley, S. E. (2009).)Normally when there are unfamiliar substances in the body, the uncontrollable affects would be the immune system attacking the unfamiliar substance that can extensive damage to the body and the person. (Holley, S. E. (2009).) Also the Magnetic Fluid contain the nanoparticles cannot be toxic to the body. Extensive research must be done in order to be able a non-toxic substance (Holley, S. E. (2009).)
Another component would be once the bone fixed from using the Magnetic fluid with nanoparticles how must it be drained out. (Gallo, J. (2009). )Would it be surgically incesioned out, would it be sucked out using a pump, would it be just left their as past of an organic material in the body? Questions like theses must be answered in order to be able to carry-out with this procedure. (Gallo, J. (2009). )
Finally, in terms of the actual fluid how will we create a substance that will combine nanoparticles and magnetic fluid. (Longman, P. J., Rae-Dupree, J., & Petit, C. W. (2000)). It probably wont be as simple as pouring one cup of nanoparticles and one cup of magnetic fluid together in one big mush. That would be too simple! (Longman, P. J., Rae-Dupree, J., & Petit, C. W. (2000)).
Future TechnologyHopefully in the near future, we will be able to fix not just bones but organs without any problems. The major problem would be process of manipulating or programing these little nanopaticles in doing the fixing we want, rather than doctors doing surgeries that take hours of doing and years of studying. (Gharpure, Y. H. (2013))With beyond the fixing of bones and fixing any organ or part of your body would be the ultimate goal for nanomedicine. (Gharpure, Y. H. (2013))
With new Research incoming about the rational delivery and targeting of pharmaceutical (a substance manufactured for use as a medicinal drug), therapeutic, and diagnostic agents is at the brinks of projects being started in nanomedicine. (Gharpure, Y. H. (2013))With this scientists are identifying of precise targets (cells and receptors) related to specific clinical conditions and choice of the appropriate nan carriers(carrier on a nano-size) to achieve the required goals while minimizing the side effects of ordinary surgeries or medications. (Gharpure, Y. H. (2013)) The key targets that scientists want to penetrate would be mononuclear phagocytes, dendritic cells, endothelial cells, and cancers (tumor cells). (Gharpure, Y. H. (2013))
With perfecting Neuro-electronic particles on a nano-size we could be dealing with the construction of nanodevices that will permit computers to be joined and linked to the nervous system. (Holley, S. E. (2009).)Thats would be CRAZY! Computers and our body would be linked together which would be an unstoppable forces against diseases and other health problems that occurring today in the world. (Holley, S. E. (2009).) We would have to create a molecular structure that would be controlled and will convey detection of nerve impulses by an external computer. Our health systems could be linked to computers. Im not talking about Xrays or MRIs, im talking about the readings of all our specific health systems. (Mody, C. M. (2008)). There would be no need for strong
nongenetically-made pharmaceuticals, because the body and brains are what we use them to accomplish. Such a structure would be able to store, move, control and monitor all our daily needs and movements from the time they are ingested to the time they are released. (Basswell (1996)..)
To build a chemical chain-the process of chemical reaction which would allow us to create synthetic medicines and medications or just a specific drug or new medicine with just a short chemical tag which in turns could be attached to be used on our bodies. This concept would also create a synthetic world which would completely switch the world to the current life cycle which has been created by the nanotechnology industry.
One of the most compelling challenges facing the use of nanomaterials is to ensure the safety of all the materials and molecules of life on the planet. This of course would require extensive research, both theoretical and practical. In a more recent article for the journal Nano Letters, Prof. Thomas F. Hirsch writes, “The use of nano-sized molecular systems is a major scientific challenge that has long been explored by the research community.” The use of nano-sized devices to be embedded on a physical body, would also become possible while we all go out of our bedrooms doing yoga. These devices would give the consumer a chance to use technology that would not be available on the nanocs to create our own health and wellness. So, we can see that how to create nano-size electronic nano-devices to be used by everyone to take on physical dangers is far from an end in sight.
A New Era of Nanotechnology
I also think that we can imagine a next phase with regards to the use of nanotechnology. This approach could help to create new ways of having bio-like molecules or products that are able to take on our health conditions with little chemical tags on them.
If we can create synthetic medicines and new medical products based on our current understanding of what nanotechnology is looking for, a system that will combine our knowledge of the chemistry and biology of our environment can be produced by the pharmaceutical industry which means that every molecule in our body can be incorporated into a product. In our environment the most important thing has to be a sustainable environment, where we can keep the environment healthy, well-balanced, happy and healthful in our daily lives. This sustainable environment can create new opportunities for us to produce different products and use our own energy when needed to grow, provide a sustainable lifestyle and to achieve our personal goals.
By combining our knowledge of molecular biology, biology, biology-based medicines, biochemistry, microbiology (to name just a few), nutrition, immune system and epigenetics to create bio-like compounds such as nanotechnology, it would solve the big problem we had when it comes to health problems – which is to say, the problem we have to solve to create sustainable medicine.
