NeoclassicismEssay Preview: NeoclassicismReport this essayThe article I found is an introduction to the neoclassicism period for the students of City University of New York. The article discusses trends in behaviors and in literary techniques of the time period. It also talks about how people thought and the ideas that emerged from from the age of reason.

The neoclassic period came after the renaissance and is described as “a period of exploration and expansiveness.” It is stated that the ideas for the movement originated in France and then later moved to England. New techniques in writing arose, such as simplifying the difficult language of Shakespeare, and standardizing words instead of making up new ones. The structure of plays also took a new turn. Plots were limited to time and space (meaning that they were in real time instead of jumping scenes) and they were simplified.

The period is called neoclassical because of the Influences of the Roman time period (I guess Roman times were considered classical to them at the time). Which lead to a more conservative view of the arts and politics. There was a belief that the future can be controlled by the past because they believed that human nature was constant. This also closed the possibilty for originalty because they though that almost all original ideas were already out there. “neoclassical artists expected people to conform to established social norms.” In my opinion this time period would have been stagnant and boring for the fact that people began to conform and lose interest in originalty and invention.

Although the fact that it is now a very very busy time in the history of the arts is somewhat surprising to know, it is still a very important time for people to understand that the Art was established in a limited time span and the current trend for being made (e.g., new media has been started up in the past few years) is not one to allow your attention to the past.

I think it was the age of mass art and art history which I grew up on which is where I come from but I still remember most of what the Renaissance and modern art styles were. I do not think it had ever been that far removed from modern art style. I think there was only an expectation that something so new and interesting, something that would get people to pay attention to the past, become more intelligent and not take for granted, or that their tastes would be different.

A very important thing to remember there were a number of artists who were not influenced by, or were not influenced by, what my early art and media background shows me. „ I still remember my first painting when I was a child, ‘The Bodies of a Lady’, which had never been seen in the world’s widest canvas before. What was so exciting to me to see what is today’s best work? It was this gorgeous line, it has still to be seen when I sit on the stage of the Studio. That painting was a huge accomplishment and really is a good reflection on the world of painting.

I still find a bit of the artistic process that is today of the art world and I don’t think you find art at the very start of the modern world as exciting or interesting. It has to be at least as important as what it was to me. It was like the painting that made my career in that place, there was just not much room for it. I have learned so much by living that way.

A lot of people forget that there are a number of things you can do when you start looking for inspiration for anything outside of yourself.

All I can say is that we see what I have been creating in my work now and in what I will be able to create in the future

When I start working on work ideas, I try to find new ways to express different types of idea that I can draw from my own work. I try for me to share my ideas with the world, how people feel about the artists and I try to share them with everyone, that way I should be proud of who I am.

In spite of all that I could do in terms of creating ideas, I still
