Microsoft Office has introduced two new features to the Windows 7 office suite: the Power and System resources manager and two new tools to manage the Office system resources. The most significant change announced is that it is now possible to use one of some of the power utility tools that the office services were lacking: Powershell.
What is Power and System resources managers? Power and system resources managers are functions that are created that enable the OS (the application or program running in the operating system) to run its operating system. Most information about a power utility program, such as its output, can be found in the Utilities section of the PowerShell command set, as can commands it creates. These utilities are available in any PowerShell session that is running an application in the Powershell environment, as well as those running on the System resource server.

While these utilities can help a computer to run applications, they also are an important part of a computer operating system administration task, as they provide the administration of the OS with a variety of tools to help guide the system through a period of maintenance. Because of the nature of the Power and System resource manager, this task is usually performed by the OS themselves, instead of by a dedicated resources manager.
The Power and System resource manager is the combination of the system resource manager and the system resources manager that powers a Power
