Are you aware that NSA (national security agency) can be listening in on your phone calls? Are you also aware that they may check your e-mail? If not you should be. Secrets may no longer stay a secret any more. I don’t know about you but I don’t agree with domestic spying and I think it should be stopped.
George bush authorized the NSA to tap the phone calls and other communication methods made by people U.S. not too long after September 11th. He kept it a complete secret for almost four years. Not only did bush keep it secret he never even cleared it with the courts. I don’t know for sure if this has been proven but by Bush broke the laws by doing this. His lawyer said that he is not technically breaking the law but he’s just a lawyer to me and he could easily be lying. Not only did bush and NSA keep this a secret, New York Times kept their story a secret for around a whole year. I’m not too sure why it was kept a secret for a year by New York Times but why would a story that big be kept a secret for as long as it was.
The NSA and GCHQ have a history of trying to manipulate the public to change policy. Bush was convicted of violating that and was released from a US prison that had been used for decades. They still tried to have Bush’s pardon revoked, but then went out of their way to hide behind his name as a war criminal.
They have also turned to their own PR machine to gain support for President Barack Obama for their plan. This was done for several reasons:
One was so the NSA could use President Obama’s name to influence events. That Obama did not appear to ever be involved in terrorist activity, and that he had no connections with terror at all.
Another was to help create problems for Obama. Although some Obama supporters in the media, especially the Obama campaign and the White House, are trying to discredit the NSA’s case for his pardon, they are using Bush’s name to discredit it. To this is a very strong argument. It points directly to Bush’s involvement in the 9/11/01 attacks. So why are so many of the more successful attempts to discredit the NSA not successful?
One piece of information could easily be turned on its head but they are very good at this. They put Bush on the case of the false accusation made by the Guardian that they put on Bush. They knew that Bush had never been part of an investigation before the time of 9/11, and did not believe that he was not doing so. At least this is what ABC News claimed.
Bush did not even go against established policy by the New York Times that he is un-American as the Washington Post claimed.
At this point the NSA is doing everything possible to turn the public against them and to try and persuade them to change their policy. In addition to this though this is what the Bush family has done to this site and they really want to keep this to themselves. They have asked US Senator John McCain.
All of this would make it impossible for them to get the U.S. Senators to speak out. However not only did Bush do very well but they have helped keep Bush away from press briefings. This is one of the reasons as to why he will never get a free press conference. He is doing his part by making it too hard for him to get a press conference that may or may not end up being a success however.
One way that he has managed to get to that point is to try and convince the people in the media not to see him as a liar, but an idiot who makes up his lies to get attention. That is what Bush and this administration are trying to accomplish.

The NSA has been tapping phones in this country for close to five years now. Who knows who they have tapped? Who knows what they have heard. Who has had any clue about what they have been doing for the past five years other than them and the president? The New York Times found out later but that’s outside of the point. The point is that we will never know the truth about what information they got from our phone calls. Bush says that the phone tapping was meant to find terrorists in this country. How do you expect us to believe that they were looking to find terrorists? He didn’t even tell us that he was doing this? He could have at least said something to warn us that he was monitoring our phone usage of our citizens. For all we know the NSA could be listening in on conversations.
Not only are our phones being tapped they are also monitoring our email.
