Unhealthy Eating Habits
The numbers of people suffering from heart attacks seem to be on the increase these days because of our modern life style.
We live in a fast paced demanding world today we all seem to be in a terrible hurry under a lot of stress with less and less time to relax and take care of our health .
Most people underestimate the importance of a healthy diet . We all know that we
should eat more fresh fruit and vegetables but when we are busy we tend to
forget and go for something quick , convenient and filling which is often quite
unhealthy .
But diet alone is not enough to guarantee a healthy heart . Exercise is also important . We should all make sure we get a regular moderate amount of daily exercise.
Most young people today , unfortunately , have very unhealthy eating habits . Studies have shown that teenagers today eat more processed foods than ever before .
A contribution factor is the fact that there seem to be no regular meal times these days . Most people skip breakfast because they dont have time and lunch is also a problem .The most popular foods at lunch time are snacks like burgers , fries , hotdogs or sandwiches which are usually on white bread with plenty of mayonnaise or butter and processed foods , such as cheese or luncheon meats .
Its so unhealthy to eat out , because we can never be sure how fresh the ingredients are and its a well known fact that most restaurants dont buy the best quality produce because it costs too much .
After school , most young people are hungry so they fill up with biscuits , crisps or other unhealthy snacks , and they end their day with a meal of pizza .
Combined with sugary soft drinks the average young
