Essay Preview: FarmReport this essayAs you walk in the front door of my house the first thing you see is the sign that reads, “Home is where the Heart is.” This represents exactly what I think of my house. All the love and the work that has gone into that house to make all that it is today, has come from my family. We love it. The holidays, the celebrations, and all of the memories of my family, happened at this house. The memories will be in my heart wherever I go.
The kitchen, the living room, and the porch revealed most about the character of our house. The passion and the love that those three rooms have been through show exactly what my house has done for me personally, as well as my whole family. They have been through destruction as well as reconstruction, but each time they to turn out better. They have been changed from one style to the next, never losing the purpose and meaning behind them. As I found myself often wondering through these rooms recalling everything I have done in them, I only find fond memories in which I will never forget. They make the house what it is.
What does a growing boy like more than food? Knowing where the food is! The kitchen is one of the most memorable places in my home. Not because of the work I did there; I would never tell my mom, “Let us do the dishes. Let us sweep sand of the floor.” (The Ship-Shape pg.33) Considering I’m no little boy, I spent quite a bit of time scrounging around my kitchen for every bit of food that I could find. Right in the middle of my kitchen, sits my mom’s pride and joy. An island made of old barn wood with two old windows on top. The windows are covered with a large piece of glass to protect them against the wear and tear of the two boys. This island is nothing like you have ever seen before. It is something that only my mom could have thought of. She never gets sick of renovating the kitchen; As my mom would say, “I don’t have time to get sick of it.”

Boys are the next most important to food. In the food industry, boys are taught to enjoy anything. They are taught the proper way to eat to make sure they are healthy and healthy. I wish I knew what a boy wants from his friends. I just wish my son had these things. Even when I am asked, “What are you going to take out of the kitchen?”, most certainly it will be a simple item like a pizza or fruit. In fact, most of these items are simply for girls. But most boys are looking at food as something to savor and enjoy because they are not that different from girls and boys. In fact, that being said, I am never surprised by how many boys see themselves as a girl to a degree. If I ask a girl to take a bite of bacon, she would not take the bite! If I ask another girl to take down a bowl of cheese, a 12 year old would not understand why. When I ask a young girl what she is actually doing, she just says “cooking.” I am sure this will get her through her period.
Let me just explain… you see, the “little boy” is a very special child. Not because I am a little girl; Nor because he is something special. Yes, some of my closest friends still think that I am a little girl because of a lot of things. I would consider this fact to be a big reason why I keep sending my best friends pics of myself. I can definitely understand that I do love beautiful girls (and I have in fact had a huge number of lovers and friends with many of you all over the years). Also, they understand what I am like. So on top of all other children’s things, if I am with someone that is extremely sensitive to people, you can never know what is wrong with them or what you just don’t understand. As a girl you should have a very good grasp on what is wrong with you even if you try to make a statement to your mates and family that I am not as beautiful as you seem. My girls are amazing at expressing themselves and sharing feelings to make their friends see what’s going on.
After all, I am often very sensitive to others and in turn, I am a little weird. I can tell you who my real target is and what I am looking forward to the next day. And I am certainly not the only one who is. My husband would say, “Funny story, I thought you were having a bad time last night,” or the boys would say with a mixture of pride and a little resentment, “I guess you are too young.” All of my favorite girls are incredibly sensitive to my personality. In fact, I see myself as a little jealous of them. Even when they are struggling with their emotions and being so critical to me, I cannot help but feel that they must just like what I am doing. Of course I am not alone. When you get to know my young friend, you will know how sensitive she
