Date: January 30, 2017Class: English 106Summary In the article “Envisioning a Post-Campus America” Megan McArdle envisage some of the significant changes that might happened for the college system in the future especially with the presence of the internet and the online learning. He started up by saying that everyone can get his/her education no matter how rich or poor he/she is, unlike now due to the high tuition only people from high or middle class go to school. Through the online education people can save money. After that, he spoke about the professors who will be chosen for teaching instead of doing a boring stuff that a theorist does in a physical class room. Then, he states that online education will eliminate the number of jobs for the professors and some professors might lose their jobs. As a result, Univariates might end up as well as the researches unless it gets funded by the government. In the sixth point the author said that young people who are looking for jobs needs to find a new way to prove their ability not only by getting their degrees.  By the online learning, the grade universities will save a lot of money that they paid for grade student who are assisting their professors. However, in the online education there is no need to teachers or research center that cost a lot of money.  Online learning student will keep in touch with their civil community and their high school students, and they built social networks with them. Online education makes it easier for poor kids to improve their skills in their free time, and they can get connoted with other students and professionals who might help them to get a job. In the tenth point, McArdle states that the young will do more investment in their 20s due to the less financial load. Online education will swell the tutoring industry.
