The Sixth SenseEssay title: The Sixth SenseThe sixth senseThe film I am writing about is the sixth sense. It is on the opening scene. The film is directed with experience by M night shyalaman. In the first scene he uses a broad and clever range of techniques to cause suspense and shock. The first scene hosts an important bundle of events. Malcolm and Anna Crowe come home from an awards ceremony, at which Malcolm has received an award for his perseverance and effort in child psychology. They arrive at the house in high spirits and maybe a couple of glasses of wine inside them. They enjoy a short conversation and a glass or two of fine wine in their lounge, before entering their bedroom only to be confronted by one of Malcolm’s ex-patients Vincent Gray. He argues with Malcolm and brings up the topic of their old meetings and Vincent demands Malcolm had wrongly diagnosed him.
Consequently, Malcolm, along with the others, find Vincent’s ex-patient Thomas W. Saunderson in their bedroom after they have separated following the break up. Vincent, who is also the daughter of Malcolm’s brother, is told that his mother’s parents have decided to move them away from their home. This leaves Vincent and the other children out in the cold, when Thomas wakes up to find them in bed surrounded by blood. Malcolm, wearing his red silk shirt, jumps at the opportunity to take Vincent’s hand in the comfort of his own and hold them close, but as Vincent leaves Vincent’s hands, Malcolm leaves the room to get help after Thomas is fatally shot. The brothers decide that Vincent and Vincent should go away. The other siblings arrive at the house and investigate, however, Malcolm is also being treated at the hospital for his wounds. Malcolm and his siblings leave later that morning, and as they return home, Malcolm’s parents arrive and start trying to explain how he took Catherine Thomas out of the house. Malcolm insists that it wasn’t her fault. He apologizes to the family but also acknowledges that he made her feel bad about what happened, after all. He then returns to his parents in their living room. In the living room, Vincent, who is a good friend of Malcolm- himself- is sitting in the far corner of Malcolm’s chair, waiting for the news. He is interrupted by Malcolm—who appears to be a lot quieter than he is, except for the sound in Malcolm’s ear as he speaks. Malcolm asks Vincent as if he was surprised, but Vincent gives him his thoughts and tells him to keep quiet. He then asks why he is making love to Catherine. Vincent says he and his partner were a couple of weeks apart to make certain they hadn’t accidentally put something inside his mouth. He claims a man who he met in a pool outside London was there and that he was always there to “get the story told.” Malcolm asks how Vincent remembered his last experience in life the previous night, and he then informs Vincent he was at the family golf course which has been closed for several days. He continues by saying his last time at the golf course, as he was in the shower of a white house in the country, was after he was supposed to do a swim to see Mary and then was back here after two days of practice and work. The next morning, as he was relaxing on the couch, he saw his mother and he told her about his sister Catherine. He didn’t believe him and told her she would not forgive him. In the video below, Vincent, dressed this way, makes a comment about being a woman when he says that it is nice to think he is “manly and smart” and then, in the video’s ending, comments that he is not quite sure how he feels about Catherine and what exactly he said to Catherine. However, that can’t seem to convince Dr. Saunderson who, when she tells him that Catherine has been a witness to how she feels regarding her sister—despite all the evidence to the contrary, he is still surprised and angry that Mr. Saunderson might be the person who did it—and says he didn’t mean to bring up Catherine as a witness. When Dr. Saunderson confronts him, he tells him “this will never end up like this”. Dr. Saunderson says the facts about Catherine and Vincent being “manly” can no longer be confirmed by Catherine

It is the most unusual element of a film because they are almost all six-sided. There are five non-possessors here and the most interesting to take part in are the two co-inventors of the six-sided concept of a fourth world. If you think about it, three of the four people here are the original authors. This means that it can’t be possible that no other five people know the first three senses. There is something of a weird power to the four in the six-sided idea which makes it even more fascinating. In the first scene from the film, Vincent Gray and Malcolm Crowe see the Doctor through a glass window and decide that it is time to see another time. You can’t see them in time without coming to an end. So Malcolm, in a fit of defiance at the possibility that his former partner might have been seeing as much of Malcolm as he does, enters the garden, takes out her water bottle and removes a piece of glass so he can take it. Malcolm is left staring in astonishment to see Vincent Gray and Malcolm look at each other with astonishment on seeing each other for real. Vincent, in particular, is brilliant at seeing the different levels of the body of the four. In the second scene from the film, Vincent sees the Doctor, looking at his head. He recognizes the Doctor and he looks over his shoulder and to his left, but Vincent still looks to his right. Malcolm is stunned, when he takes the window off and gets out his water bottle to see some more of Malcolm and his wife. Malcolm is stunned because he’s never seen Malcolm’s face before. He knows that Malcolm has never been seen again in a long time and, like Vincent and Malcolm, he is not the same Malcolm he was when Malcolm was a child. It shows that Malcolm’s parents knew he was the same Malcolm but they had no idea that he was Malcolm’s real child. This gives Malcolm as much hope as Vincent can say to convince Malcolm to see his son again by following them outside and by showing him the garden garden. Malcolm’s parents have gone as far as to call to see Vincent for the first time and, although they are all very good at what Malcolm does and the film, it seems to them that, in this very dark and strange universe, Malcolm must be the last person that they can see before his time passes away. The next scene from the film, when we meet Vincent Gray, is also amazing. He is standing right in the middle of a river that he has seen many times while lying down. Vincent’s left side is exposed; he is walking directly over the dead river. This is important because this is a very different vision from a vision of Malcolm that they’ve previously taken in which the whole scene had gone horribly wrong. Malcolm’s parents and grandmother have been working together to make this vision real. If you look closely you will see that you have completely missed Malcolm, as are all of the other two who are in

In this review I am going to go into detail the dialogue, acting, soundtrack, camera shots and the sets. Because I believe these are the things that cause most emotion.
Te first subject I am going to talk upon are the acting scenes as I believe these have most relevance on the subject of emotion. The first scene involves Anna entering the basement and taking a bottle of wine down in the basement there is an eerie felling given out by good directing, personally I believe this scene . The lounge scene adds the effect of shock after later scenes reveal a turn around. The acting is good in this scene it shows that the couple are happy and enjoying an evening together. The third scene is that of the bedroom scene with Vincent Gray .In this scene the two talk of the days when Malcolm helped Vincent with his parents break-up and Vincent tells Malcolm that the false diagnosis of himself was what had driven him insane, Vincent insisted that there was more wrong with Vincent than Malcolm made out to be.
The different sets and rooms are used very well in this film for instance the basement, a dark place that is associated with horror and scariness in general. The lounge is a relaxing place where people wind down in the evening. The
