Managment Case
Organizational culture is one of the important aspects that affect the way people or groups interact with each other in a group or company. Organizational culture is characterized by the attitudes, experiences, beliefs, and values of an entire organization. A companys values are the core of its culture; values offer a set of guidelines on the behaviors and mindsets needed to achieve that vision/mission statement.
In the social sector, an organizations culture is closely tied to its mission and programs. Inducing some informal cultures like off-site team building activities may increase team/group’s performance. They become much more comfortable with each other and become easy for collective throughput.
For example Google is the best company to work for because of its informal culture as it is founded by two grad students. They have a seven-acre sports complex, which includes a roller hockey rink; courts for basketball, bocce, and shuffle ball; and horseshoe pits. I think culture like this will break all the barriers and there will be a high throughput.
