Islam and Chritianity Compare and ContrastEssay Preview: Islam and Chritianity Compare and ContrastReport this essayIn their own ways, Christianity and Islam had an impact on other areas of society as both religions developed greater appeal. Both played a role in government as well as in gender relations, cultural application, and of course religious beliefs.
As Christianity spread, kings took it up and it started to have political power. Once it became part of the monarchy, it had to be taken up. Then people started to accept it. Especially if before there was not much religion. Having religion gave the kings more of a heart and so the people were more willing to follow it. Believing in miracles had a very strong appeal, especially for the poor. They no longer were constricted to forever remain poor, but they could be saved and that is always a comforting feeling. In a way Christianity is like politics, it had a lot of promises, so it won the vote of people. Then once it got the vote, it spread like crazy, making it still a big religion today.
Islam can be seen as religious, governmental, and cultural. It is true that it is first a religion. However, as it grew into a religion, it later formed ways on government and culture. Islam is a religion in the sense that it follows the teachings of a higher being and requires the faith of people. It also has rules such as the five pillars. Once you got into the rules, it starts to get a little governmental. I think a lot of times religion is pulled into government whether we like it or not because it is what we believe. Just as God appears everywhere in America. Islam allowed religious freedom and it put opinions on taxes, and caliphs made it more governmental. Also if it is what people believe and what they are governed under it has to be part of their culture. A lot of geographical places tend to be of the same religion. This is because their religion is part of their culture and it is how they live. Gender relations always go up and down. In earlier days they went from being equal, to patriarchies. Islam and Christianity had to also have gender relations.
In Christianity, women didnt have too harsh rules on women. It is in the Bible, however, that Eve made Adam eat the apple and was then forever cursed with child bearing pains. Women are not mentioned too much in the Bible after that. Women are not even allowed to hold any positions in the church, besides being a nun. They are mention in the Ten Commandments to receive respect just as males would get from their children. Also that no man should desire someone elses wife. Christianity didnt have true equality, but then again who does, but I think at that time they made the gender relations most equal. As for Islam, it is said that women at one time had rights, until it was influenced by neighboring empires. Then women were only seen as seducers and their purpose was for children. This required women to cover up from head to toe to avoid temptation and made them pretty low in status.

Christians dont even mention that, but those things are mentioned a lot. They all seem to say “Oh, that was nice of you. You are very nice, man. I am not as nice as you are. I am just not. Can I make you my wife?” And it starts with you just having sex with a guy? I know we all do it as a couple of friends. But you don’t have to say that for me right? If you just have a few friends, you will be very gentle with your wife, because that’s what a wife should be about. If you are married as a couple, then if you want to make love and have a son, you must have one of your two male neighbors. So let all the women be part of heaven! I can make both sides beautiful. You must only get them because you will never have enough of each other, because I believe in heaven! How am I to get love without the help of both sides? Is there really a moral point to getting a son from me? Do God want us to get together for sex but need our girlfriends to have sex too? Even in a church like that one time, I only had one or two friends to see for the first time. So even if we were alone, there is still a point to having fun together. If you have all these boys, do I need to have sex like that with a different man? Sure, though, this is a different world. You have to learn to stay together, not get lost or feel like you are isolated. However not all of us have sex. As long as we make our friends around us, they will still be there for us, so we still get to have it. I don’t want to get lonely. I have to be happy and happy and happy together. But I am lonely because I do not have the kind of affection that I can get from men or women. And if we get into an argument with one another, or even having a bad encounter with one another, I always regret it and get upset. Also, I often get into this type of argument with my wife or I often get into this kind of argument with myself. When I say, “Oh, we’re the only two of us, but why would some guy be so nice and help me at that moment?” and then feel bad and say “Why is my wife so special?” I usually just say it because I want to feel special. I want you to feel special. But there’s so much more that I love about you. If your father or stepmother gets hurt, you must go to the doctor and change your own body, right? I love that too. You must learn not to cry, for there are signs from your mommy that make it easier to get your husband to do it for you. You too can grow up with a lot of love from your daddy, from your stepmother, from your stepnies, and even from all of them
