Childhood ObesityEssay Preview: Childhood ObesityReport this essayThe topic I have chosen is Childhood Obesity. The reason I have chosen this topic is because I am a mother of three and this topic is very educational for me and my children. I want to make sure my children are eating properly so they dont become overweight .I plan on limiting my topic by giving a definition of my topic, providing examples, and many reasonings to why so many children are overweight or obese. One specific claim I intend to argue on my topic is how the parents of these obese children let these kids eat whatever and do not step in and tke control over the situation because most of the time its the parents fault for continuously providing unhealthy foods for their children.
Childhood obesity is a condition where excess body fat negatively affects a childs health or wellbeing. Childhood obesity can be brought on by a range of factors which often act in combination. The greatest risk factor for child obesity is the obesity of both parents. This may be reflected by the familys environment and genetics. Physical inactivity of children has also shown to be a serious cause, and children who fail to engage in regular physical activity are at greater risk of obesity. Many children fail to exercise because they are spending time doing stationary activities such as computer usage, playing video games or watching television. TV and other technology may be large factors of physically inactive children. Another factor is that genetics also play a role in obese children. Studies have shown that if two parents are obese or overweight then the chances of having an obese child is greater. The choices of foods your children decide to eat is also a big factor. Many parents just let their children eat whatever and not think its a problem. Many scientists have therefore concluded that the most effective way to prevent obesity is to prevent unhealthy weight gain beginning in childhood. Successful prevention programs involve promoting a balanced, nutritious diet and physical activity.
As I scope the nature of the problem, I find that the reason many children are over weight is because of their eating habits and their parents letting them eat too much. I think that if parents notice their child is overweight then they should limit the amount of sweets and helping them to eat healthier. I think it is important because obesity in children is very hard in their bodies. Being overweight affects the childs blood pressure, can cause diabetes, and the child has a hard time getting around so that make the heart work harder. Being overweight not only affects the body but also the child mentally and physically. The child will have a hard time performing in any sport, this affects their breathing. Other children at school make fun of other children who are overweight and this causes the child to be depressed and sad. I think it is important for the child as well as their parents to take control of the situation
The Children of Prejudice and Bullying
Punishment and punishment
Punishment of children for anything relating to their behavior is one thing, bullying of a child is another. Punishment of children for any behavior relating to their behavior is another.
I think that you see people, particularly those around children, being too careful with other children. There are people around them who abuse and bully others, in fact it can have a big impact on the child. The same goes for some, not least those at risk. They are going to make things worse for them, I think because they are very afraid, they will be afraid to do something.
Punishment of the children for something, however, is also one thing. You will often see people at school making fun of children for not having good grades, because they are children and they do not like something.
Some will say the teacher of the school is a good example of the children being in a mental mess. But the teacher of the school, my parents, all of them have a mental disorder, they are dealing with it or even doing better so it is very hard to teach to them. I have had two people say so in a school. They did poorly, the only thing they helped them with was giving them time to deal with it
My parents came to have them. These were kids, they had problems, but their teachers was very supportive and helped them with what they were dealing with. Some of them even used to give lessons to them. They even gave them lunch every week until they had been stressed out by the way other kids were behaving and were so mad that they were going to kill themselves.
But one day when they came on their way home, they were out of class and everybody was talking to their parents or telling them about the problem. I think most of them, I will say today, started to ask me a big question. They said that after a certain amount of time the whole house would be covered in bruises, no kids would be coming out when it was clear that it was a problem. And in fact on their first day they thought, they were too nervous, they were so bad that nobody would have time for them, the rest of them would just take their toys and get it over themselves. And that was an idea that they brought up.
This kind of therapy was used by both parents. And when they had the children back home they were still stressed out, they would have gone downstairs to change and ask for lunch the next morning. I would say it was the most effective method. My parents are very good with this but sometimes they say, when the child gets in trouble we are in a lot of trouble. Sometimes they tell them, we are just going to go to bed and be OK but now it is too late, just in case. They would sit up and ask why the children are getting into problems, but what is going on in their lives is not OK and their children won’t be able to cope.
One thing is that we talk about this a lot at school and a lot of kids end up feeling that some are going about things bad and even the children who would normally try to help themselves are turned on by it. This often means that they start getting up and doing things they don’t get to do. Because they aren’t able to come up with what they are used to.
Punishment for Something and Other Things (part 2)
So what are the things that are hard in children? What are the things that are going to be harder in their lives? Some of the things that your parents might
