What is the real meaning of “peace”? Each one of us has different meaning or definition for peace. In general, peace occurs when every person, family, community, city, nation and group of nations agree to have mutual harmony with each other. No threats, no wars, no conflicts between any countries or parties, thats what peace generally means.
Peace is when you have the so called freedom. In a more particular way, a person who aims for peace is the same person who aims for love and freedom. As the saying goes, “No man is an island.” How would you consider that there is peace within only one person? Maybe that is the feeling of being free only for your own sake. But for me, peace should be within two or more person or parties, it should be within us, it should be within the people of the world. It usually starts with having companions, having friends, having a group of people whom you consider a family.
In our world today, we all know that everyone aims for and wants to achieve peace. It is really a wonderful thing that you are able to talk, to have endless conversations, to make friends, to love, to gain trust from other people and to get along with others by just being your real self. Doing these, you are already having the freedom to make choices for yourself. Choices that will make your life even better, choices that can change the way you live and choices that will give you the freedom to have a good future. These can give you confidence to achieve your goals in life.
Asking me about how I would define peace would be very easy to answer. It is having a lot of people around you, who really love and appreciate everything you do even the smallest things. It is having friends who are always there to help, to guide and to correct your mistakes. It is having people in your life who are ready to get along with you in every problem, trials and challenges you have to face. That is really grateful, knowing that you are loved by many people. Peace is when everyone is always there for you and will never leave you no matter what. Having peace, you can have the freedom to express yourself to everyone. It doesnt really matter if not everyone likes the kind of person you are or not everyone likes the way you do things by yourself. As long as you do things for a better with pure heart, it would be awesome in the eyes of God.
So what does the word “peace” really mean? Maybe, the one who is currently reading this context has a unique definition for peace or maybe the same.
For a nation, peace starts when there are no arguments at all, no misunderstandings and no “just thinking about your own self,” but thinking for the sake of the whole country. Its about unselfishness. Learning to give and serve for the people of the nation. It is when you
