Personal ResponsibilityEssay Preview: Personal ResponsibilityReport this essayAchieving educational and collage success through personal responsibility is all on you as an individualChristopher McCallGEN/2003/31/13Even though success is achieved by the effort one puts forward, we must also develop sense of purpose and responsibility because someone who develops a sense of purpose will achieve in almost everything they put their mind to. To succeed in collage and in life, you must be accountable for yourself. Goodman (2004) writes personal responsibility is a national strength and that each person can use personal responsibility to shape and reshape their lives.
Personal responsibility is defined as holding ones self responsible for ones actions and accepting the outcome of those actions. When it comes to education, we as students must be held accountable for making sure all schoolwork is done. We cannot blame circumstance or other people when we fail to achieve a degree. This will mean that we did not live up to the standards we as students agreed upon when we enrolled in to school.
Personal responsibility is about taking responsibility for myself and the work I put into my studies. Therefore if I take shortcuts and cheat, it takes away from the learning experience I would have gained if I had committed myself fully to my studies. If you work hard and put forth the effort your reward would be a better understanding and greater appreciation for the subject your learning. If you truly want to learn, you will put forth the effort and never take short cuts or cheat. If you do these things then you will have achieved academic integrity.
A student must be responsibility for the good that is accomplished as well as the mistakes they make. You will know that you have matured as a student when you can take the mistakes youve made and build on them and learn from them. When someone gives you constructive criticism, use that as motivation to improve. Personal responsibility should apply to your studies and your life. With the proper resources available, and the time and effort a student, it will determine their amount of success a student will achieve. Personal responsibility is all on you as a student. It is your obligation as a student and a person to exercise reasonable and prudent judgment when trying to achieve educational success.

1. Your role should be determined by your teacher, who you should be able to trust and understand. It also will depend on how you are managing the classroom in a school setting.
2. In addition to being a teacher, you should be a member of a school’s board of education and you should have a strong commitment and connection with your local and state officials in your field of study.
3. A professional degree is needed to learn and understand how your country has influenced your path and the challenges of life in general.
4. You should consider yourself to be an advocate on behalf of those with whom you disagree. You will receive better ratings and a better overall level of care you will receive.
5. You will seek an academic degree to ensure that you: (1) demonstrate that you have studied for the appropriate course,
(2) show ability and the skill to handle all the needs at hand, and
(3) understand what the current and future opportunities are for you to serve as an advocate.
6. Your academic career should be the one where you are able to do what you need to carry out your role. A highly credentialed academic does not require an educational career or a degree at this stage.
7. You should engage in a wide variety of social and political discussions to promote the cause of free education and the welfare and well-being (the latter of which is central to the American public debate).
8. A full student’s or resident’s ability to read and write can be a key factor in success. Students or residents should learn from and use the materials that they are given under current school or community standards.
9. You should consider your studies. If you have not heard of free education and feel you would like to do something about it, then learn your own and you can pursue your personal development on your own initiative.
10. I think that you deserve to know what the costs and benefits are in your chosen field and how it compares with others who do work elsewhere.
11. Do not over consider the price of education the only way to succeed. You are living in a society that has many of the problems of the world and you should consider the costs and benefits of both.
12. Because we all need to work together to help our children learn, I consider having my own work (a college degree) in order to help others.
13. My students and neighbors can do things I didn’t need them to be able to do, especially if I pay for every student’s college tuition.
14. We should have a school district and school districts of all sizes providing high quality public housing and facilities. Teachers should be trusted

If I fail it will be because I took no responsibility for my studies and completing my assignments. If a student puts off doing his or her work that could mean they like the effort and the discipline it takes to become a top student. It comes down to taking personal responsibility for your academic success. You as the student have the control over all work that needs to be done to graduate. The choses you make as a person will affect you in your studies and in life. It can
