During our visit I noticed some issues it might be not in the interest of the factory .the first two issues in my opinion considered as hazard issues. First the narrow paths between the machines, What about if there an emergency and they need to evacuate the building? I think if the path is wider that will give more space to the employees or visitors to move easier in a safer way especially in emergency situations. The other issue is that some zones are open to the move of forklift and people at the same time. That may cause accidents and put people in danger. Being safe is better than being sorry.so its better to separate people paths and machines paths.
The other issues can be considered as health issues. Third issue is that the plant was not clean to the level of expectation I had. There were some cigarettes, papers and some foil rolls on the floor. That reflected contamination and might lead to health problems as an extra with smoking health issues itself. The fourth issue is that the tobacco smell is everywhere to breathe in. this may cause health issues for the people who spend a long time in the factory. The following issue is not really an issue it more a suggestion, since most of the factory is automatized why not atomize the whole process? So the factory can be more sanitized and close. Particularly because cigarettes touch the mouth and people inhale smocks in there body.
The tobacco company is saying that the plants “do it properly” and that they’re not leaking or smelling like tobacco and that this is what the company is saying in their statement: “The plants do it properly” But the tobacco company is still telling us that this is a sign it works and that their product is clean to the level of expectations and that it’s the product that was tested. This isn’t going to happen in a week as there’s still two weeks to go before we’ll be testing all the plants. We’re still testing two or three plants but we’ll be putting the actual plants through the pneumatic test and also testing what we had just tested. After that we’re going to talk with the company again that their product is clean to the levels of expectations and they have been working with the companies to resolve the issues with the plants. This is also the company giving us a product certification and we’ll have a more current product status and more detailed reviews. So I’m going to get together with a group of people who’ve been working with the company, with them and with the companies and see what we can work together to get things ready for production.
