I, myself, aspire to become a physical therapist one day and am just starting my path on becoming one. To achieve the job that I want to make a living with, I must first go to college and get the degree necessary to practice physical therapy. [pic 3] There are 3 different degrees: The Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree (DPT) which is offered in the United States to all new students. To achieve the DPT degree, one must have their bachelors (undergraduate) degree, to start. Then, one must continue to get their DPT degree by completing 3-4 more years of school. The Master of Physical Therapy Degree (MPT) & the Master of Science in Physical Therapy Degree (MSPT) is no longer offered to any new students. On average, the duration of professional DPT programs are three years. Outside the classroom in clinical education only 20%.To get into the professional physical therapy degree without having to earn your bachelor’s degree first, some students can get in, depending on certain variables like GPA.The key to attending a Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree program (DPT) is to make sure it’s by CAPTE (Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education). Different factors to take into consideration when choosing a class:

I am not sure since I found this picture online but I believe that this is a second-year class seeing as how you must be a third-year student to work with patients and they are working with each other.The APTA (American Physical Therapy Association) doesn’t rank their DPT (Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree) programs.The Tuition cost for a public school In-state for the program is about $14,427. The tuition cost for out-of-state public schools for the program about $29,157.
