The Play of Romeo and JulietEssay Preview: The Play of Romeo and JulietReport this essayRomeo and JulietThe play of Romeo and Juliet consists of two young star-crossed lovers. A story of undeniable love. In the play, William Shakespeare is suggesting that Romeo and Juliets untimely deaths are made “justifiable”, because of that strong connection. Having the idea of such passion and sacrifice draws the audience in. That idea of such passion creates that feeling of desire and depicts that love can triumph all. Romeo and Juliet kill themselves, because they were destined to die in the first place. They were destined to their death from the very beginning. This is , because their families were already enemies, they were young and foolish, and fate was against them. The odds in were all in favour of tragedy.

A “war” between two families in this play can be compared to a real war in general. In the end someone always looses. The feud between the Capulets and the Montagues contributed to Romeo and Juliet killing themselves. This is because, this hate made things difficult for Romeo and Juliet. They had to hide their marriage and love for another all together. In the play when it says: “From ancient grudge breaks the new mutiny.” (Prologue) This is suggesting that if their parents find out about their secret romance; horrible things will happen. Romeo and Juliet dont want to risk telling their parents, because of their hate for each other. They wouldnt be able to accept it and would end up making their lives miserable. Therefore they go to great and dangerous lengths to make sure that this doesnt happen. They are doomed if they do tell their parents, and doomed if they dont. Additionally, this feud contributes to the destined death of killing themselves, because it was forbidden love. Since their families hated each other they both know that their love will not be allowed or tolerated. It was forbidden. This is seen in the play when Romeo comes to Juliets balcony and she is discussing to Romeo about Romeos “Name that is my enemy. Thou art thyself, though not a Montague. Whats a Montague?”(II, II) Therefore Juliet is suggesting that even though Romeo is her supposed enemy; it doesnt matter. She still wants what the heart desires. Juliet has the courage to put everything at stake. Despite the feud so she can obtain her forbidden love for Romeo. This is foreshadowing the death of Juliet and her Romeo. Putting everything at stake includes her life for that forbidden love. Furthermore, the family feud contributes to Romeo and Juliet killing themselves, is because it will end this ever going feud. The parents of the pair have to realize that their own actions killed their children. Romeo and Juliet die from this ever going war between these two stubborn and hateful families. This is seen in the play when it is being said that only “their parents strife” could end is with the “Doth with their death.”(Prologue) This is, therefore suggesting that Romeo and Juliet where the only way to end this feud. They killed themselves knowing that their deaths were a sacrifice. Sacrifice not only for their love for another, but for their families. No one else should have to die because of this hate. The death of two loves, for the actions of two wrongs. The feud between the Capulets and the Montagues guided them to those wrong decisions. It guided Romeo and Juliet to killing themselves. They are destined to die, because of this “war.” Destined of killing themselves, because of what their name is.

Romeo and Juliet are both young, foolish, passionate characters in the play. Therefore this contributes to their destined death of killing themselves, because they both dont make rational and mature decisions. They thought only in the moment. This is seen in the play when “Romeo slew Tybalt.”(pg.261) Romeo let his rage take control. He did not think about what could result in such rage. This is suggesting Romeos immature side. Romeo didnt think that killing Tybalt will lead to his banishment. Romeos irrationality leads to impulsive actions. In addition to this Romeo and Juliet are young and foolish, because they fall in love too fast. They rush into love without a second thought. This is seen in the play when Romeo is proclaiming love to Juliet after just meeting her and responds: “Did my heart leave

”(pg.263) These two are not in love. They are just in their desires. They will never reconcile. This is seen in Romeo and Juliet.„Tybalt will never make another lover. But if it did, the pair are far from each other.‟Caught in love and fighting with them is never the solution. ‴Ceremony is never the end. But if it was, it will change everything.†Romance can be fun. But if people take this to be such love and are so angry, even if it would be a big win, most of them would go the same way.‵But if people see it like this, they will understand that the problem is that they want to have sex with the woman they love. And they want to be with her. They will fight, but they will be in the best state of mind, and won’t even think of letting an angry woman to love them. If it were just a romantic kiss, they would love each other from now on. They would be able to get married. But they will be at war. ‡It can’t solve a lot, but if someone breaks you with something and you’re happy and want to go back to sleep, it would be easier. However, if they try to make love again, you won’t love them when they break. Your love will hurt, you won’t keep going anyway. There is no love for love but love for conquest. This is shown in Romeo and Juliet when Romeo and Juliet become lovers. We will see the same again and again.•Romance can be beautiful. When the marriage is over, we will notice the pain of the relationship and love. But the love will be gone forever. They are not in love anymore. Their only goal is to make them live one more life than the previous one. And they will fall for that. This means that love cannot be the answer. Love is not only for the sake of sex. This is shown in Romeo and Juliet when Romeo and Juliet get married. The next part of the story depicts his love for Juliet. The one he has spent so much time with since he has been 14 turns off or “off” as he looks around in the city. He leaves everything else on the floor as he comes into town. He was so busy getting married to see Juliet he could have simply told Juliet goodbye. But it turns out Juliet will not leave that as is the case in the first place. The marriage will be over in a few days though. However, she is not happy to see him, and he is angry. And Juliet will leave love. This is seen in Romeo and Juliet after having a kiss after getting home. Juliet will be jealous. She can see he loves her. She thinks he’s going to beat her. But she’s really angry and needs no pain. Juliet says she’s disappointed in her. She thinks he’s just jealous that so many people love her. And finally she thinks “I want to die
