Social conflict theory is a Marxist-based social theory which argues that individuals and groups (social classes) within society have differing amounts of material and non-material resources (the wealthy vs. the poor) and that the more powerful groups use their power in order to exploit groups with less power.[citation needed]
The two methods by which this exploitation is done are through brute force usually done by police and the army and economics. Earlier social conflict theorists argue that money is the mechanism which creates social disorder. The theory further states that society is created from ongoing social conflict between various groups. There are other theories of deviance, the functionalist theory, the control theory and the strain theory. It also refers to various types of positive social interaction that may occur within social relationships.
“Consider paying rent towards housing. The conflict theorist argues that this relationship is unequal and favors the owners. Renters may pay rent for 50 years and still gain absolutely no right or economic interest with the property. It is this type of relationship which the conflict theorist will use to show that social relationships are about power and exploitation.”s focused on Hegelianism and abandoned romanticism, joined young Hegelians a group of people who are radical thinkers which turned to not have real prospect. Marx finished his doctoral work at 1841, his thesis titled “The Difference between the Democritean and Epicurean Philosophy of Nature”, he submitted his thesis at the University of Jena rather than at the University of Berlin. He was awarded PhD by the University of Jena based on his work.
In October 1842, Marx moved into Journalism in Cologne. He became an editor of Rheinische Zeitung, a liberal newspaper backed by industrialists, where he expressed his socialist views about politics. The paper was closed in 1843 down due to his critiscisms to monarchies and goverments.

He wrote both Contribution to a Critique of Hegels Philosophy of Right, Introduction, and On The Jewish Question, in 1843 and published under Deutsche-Franzosische Jahrbucher. Marx together with Ruge and her wife initially lived at Rue Vaneau, but living condtions there were hard the Marxes moved out after the birth of their daughter Jenny in 18 44.
In Paris, Marx became a communist and wrote his views in a series of writings known as the Economic and philosophical manuscripts on 1844. Also, iw was in Paris Marx met Engels. Marx began writing in Vorwärts!, the only uncensored German language radical newspaper in Europe. He continued fostering his views about socialism and at the same time criticizing other socialists and various liberals operating in Europe at that time. Vorwärts! was shut down due to the request from the Prussian King and Marx was expelled from France by interior minister François Guizot.
Marx being unable to stay in France or Germany moved to Brussels, Belgium together with Engels. Marx together with Engels started working the German Ideology, though unpublished in Marx lifetime, set the beginning in developing the theory of history. On 1847 his work the poverty of Philosophy was followed after starting to work the German Ideology. Marx joined the Communist League in which Marx and Engels were the major theoreticians. Marx and Engels were commissioned to write a succinct declaration about their position at the conference league of London on 1847. February 21, 1848 marked the day that the communist manifesto was first published.
Marx from exile went to Germany to join the revolution. He founded again in Cologne the Neue Rheinische Zeitung. The revolution failed and Marx sought refuge to London where he remained for the rest of his life.

POLITICAL ECONOMY
Political economy was the original term used for studying production (act of creating output, a good or service which has value and contributes to the utility of individuals) , buying, and selling, and their relations with law, custom ( pattern of behavior within a particular social setting) (a certain legal practice is observed) , and government, as well as with the distribution of national income (estimate total economic activity in a country or region) and wealth ( the net worth of a person, household, or nation). Political economy originated in moral philosophy (a branch of philosophy that involves systematizing, defending, and recommending concepts of right and wrong conduct.).
The word economy, drawn from two Greek words, house and law, which together signify the management or arrangement of the material part of household or domestic affairs, means in its most common sense the avoidance of waste.
