In the novel To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee, the author intends the reader to learn that you shouldnt judge people by there race. Later on I will be telling you about a life as the Cunninghams, Bob Ewell, and Atticus. So if you listen up and pay attention you will almost be as smart as me.
The Cunninghams were the poor family they were so poor they couldnt afford shoes for the family and they also never had any food. “Walter Cunninghams face told everybody in the first grade he had hookworms. His absence of shoes told us how he got them.”

This quote shows that Bob Ewell is a really lazy man. This quote also shows that Bob Ewell doesnt try anything hard, not even for money. “First thing you can do, Ewell, is get your stinkin carcass off my property. Youre leanin on it an I cannot
afford fresh paint for it, second thing you can do is stay away from my cook or Ill have you up for assault-“
