Promoting School Culture
Promoting School Culture
Artifact: Develop a PowerPoint presentation highlighting the positive aspects of your school’s culture in relation to student and community diversity, providing examples of how your school nurtures and supports diversity. If school practices exist that reflect negative biases in relation to student and community diversity, recommend specific ways to improve your school’s culture and school programs. When considering diversity, select at least two of these areas to focus your efforts:
Population.
Language.
Disability.
Gender.
Race.
Socio-economic status.
Share your PowerPoint presentation with your principal/supervisor.
Intern Activity Plan: I would present a PowerPoint that will address the difficulties that occur within the school culture and solutions that allows student success. My PowerPoint defines the three goals; academic achievement, safe and orderly school environment and student drop-out rate.
