Born in a big family of fourteen and leads a simple life has really taught me Nurul Shahidu Syahida Abd Rashid how important it is to be a knowledgeable person in order to survive in this beautiful and challenging world. I was born on 8 Nov. 1994 at Hospital of Tumpat. Right now I am already 17 and going to turn 18 years old this coming November. Having 14 siblings taught me to be a competitor. I have to grab any opportunity whether in having meals or playing games with them. Currently, I am living in Tumpat, Kelantan with my family. My father is a retiree and my mother is a full-time housewife. I completed my primary school at SK. Sri Kg Laut. During 2006, I sat for UPSR examination and scored 5As. As for the superb achievement, I was offered to pursue my studies at MJSC Pasir Tumboh, one of prestigious college in Malaysia. In the year 2009, I have been listed as one of the best student after I got 8As in PMR. After obtaining a good result, I was offered to carry on my upper secondary education at MJSC Tun Ghaffar Baba. Due to some cases, I was transferred to another excellent college which is MJSC Pengkalan Chepa. For my SPM, praise to Allah I got 5A+, 3A- and 1B+. Although I am required to face new environments, mainly to be transferred into the hostels and be occupied with various kinds of co-curriculum activities, but I had proved myself that I am capable to excel in academic fields by achieving my targets in every examination.
Stepping into Mara Junior Science College system really gave me real challenges in co-curriculum to make me into a brilliant learner, outstanding leader, and all-rounded student. Being one of the College Election Commission Board Exco has exposed me to become a strong leader that full of professional leadership qualities. Besides that, I am the committee member of Peer Guidance Society or literally Pembimbing Rakan Sebaya (PRS), an active member of Girl Rangers and College Handicraft Club. These posts helped me to emerge as a responsible member who can give cooperation in the teamwork among my friends very well. I also participated in Leadership Camp and Kem Minda Cemerlang in 2011. By joining these camps, I could gain and build-up my self-confidence in giving speeches and shared my ideas with others. At the same time, I am one of the Secretariat in the Colleges Career and Colleges Orientation Week. This shows that Im a student that is compatible with many kinds of activities either curricular or co-curricular. In addition of my results that is always consistent. I was graduated as First Class from MJSC Pasir Tumboh and Second Class Upper from MJSC Pengkalan Chepa.
