All of the miniscule and exact details in every uniform we wear serves a purpose to every marine wearing that uniform. It gives us the attention to detail we need to take with us to combat so we can spot IEDs or whatever else the enemy throws at us. If a marine looks at every detail in his/her uniform, they will most likely look at every detail in a combat environment also. If we dont have that attention to detail that we need I could get myself killed or get other marines to the left and right of me killed because of that pressure plate I didnt see so I stepped on it. Marines are inspected on their uniforms frequently to make sure that we are keeping our uniforms ready and squared away at all times. The attention to detail must be perfect to make sure our uniform is immaculate.
P.S. The first thing we will notice with regards to our uniforms is that we get a lot of calls from our friends or family to change them because of a leak. Any changes to any ship or ship type we are using now must be made without any previous leaks and in no way is it our responsibility to do so. And if you get someone wanting to change your ship, we will try to keep your ship to the highest standards possible, unless said person wants to change it to something else. So please keep it simple! Make that change so quick and it can be done without any hassle.
We use all the same standard clothing and accessories to each of our ships and we keep everyone’s own unique attire and uniforms. The only exception is to our own uniforms where we carry all the same standard clothing and we carry a few additional items with us at the time of service.
