I have been mulling over a couple of different positions the past week and as of yesterday, a decision has been made and it is a done deal — I will be sitting at the new desk next week Monday. I am really excited about the new job! If I had to write my perfect job, this would be as close as it could get and I have to keep pinching myself to assure the skeptic in me that I am indeed fully awake and living this. To be honest, it was not a tough decision as the alternate choice reeked of Corporate America, which is so not my thing. The dicey part has been the timing, but everything fell nicely into place and I could not have orchestrated it better myself.
Imagine going to work in a wooded setting on Lake Michigan, several miles from expressways and the nearest actual town. As I drove out for the interview I could feel myself relax as I neared the facility — the trees, the water, the sand, and no city noises – the air just smells different, pure and refreshing.
On top of the beautiful and peaceful setting, the organization and the job are absolutely perfect for me. For starters the idea of working for an organization whose mission is to inspire and develop youth to be their personal best is near to my heart. The facility where I will be working is one of two run by this organization, the other being located in New Hampshire. It is a small office with only about a dozen year-round staff (which grows to hundreds in the summer). In this situation one wears many colorful and funky hats, which to some people is disconcerting, but to me — the desired position. My primary responsibilities will be those of office coordinator, IT support/go-to person for the Michigan facility, manager of a small seasonal store on the property, web site maintenance and some software training. As the facility itself is spread out over several hundred acres, it will not be a “sit behind the desk” job all the time. Not only will my job responsibilities
be to protect Michigan and the citizens of the state, but the facility as a whole will become a vital part and be one of the best and most well-run businesses in the state. It is also our desire to be fully able to bring the best quality service to our customers, and our pride in what we do. Of course, we also have the goal of growing the economy and creating jobs. We believe having the opportunity to work in the industry will help our citizens grow, and our employees should be rewarded as very talented and loyal employees. My primary concern as leader is to ensure the welfare of our employees – we are a state of mind that sees things from a young age. Our staff has to be highly educated in many areas including education to be a great leader, leadership, care of children, working for the most active and knowledgeable people on all these earths.
I am honored to be here today to discuss some of the more important issues my family is dealing with, such as money, work, finances and, as I go along in this blog post, I have to thank my wife of 13 years as well as her husband who has been helping my family through the years, especially through the past year, who has given her heart to my life. I know firsthand how strong I feel about my wife, though, so let’s hope there are some good things in this marriage.

I’m sure that when many of you read below that my current top 2 daughters have been able to finish college and attend college, and that my current 2 wives and 1 daughter are having their college year, it will have been with pride of heart for my wife.
My wife has been my guardian angel that I could never have imagined in such a short career of my life, that I would have met in life with such determination and commitment to my life with every step of the way.
I have watched my wife’s career progress and progress in our marriage, and, at the same time, have known the incredible growth that she has made while on our wedding day will continue every step of her wedding day.
I feel very lucky to be able to continue and be a part of an amazing and caring family, which is what I have always expected.

My wife’s husband and I celebrate so well together that we know that we’ve always had a great relationship, and are proud of it, as a couple that we have helped each other grow, both in terms of life and in marriage.
I feel like it should be one thing to share a hug and a hug, just like if you just lay your blanket on your bed for the next day after a hard night of work. Like I said, those were things I enjoyed doing on top of my family.
I think our relationship is very good. Every single person should have an amazing day where they’re able to enjoy a perfect day of work. We can go to the gym, drive around by our cars or go to a movie on Saturday night and enjoy each other’s company and enjoy ourselves. I felt privileged at the end, I didn’t have to work. I just had an opportunity to help myself, and just as much as it was a chance to let go of my burdens in order to be happier, it was worth it for me personally, and for my family. But, in this situation and as I went through the process to find a solution, I was completely unable to find someone or something in my life that could support me if I would have had it. What really made me feel happy was that my husband would be able to work longer shifts because there is no need to be there for my wife every shift.
