The professional organization I chose is the International Air Transport Association (IATA). The International Air Transport Association seeks to improve understanding of the industry among decision makers and increase awareness of the benefits that aviation brings to national and global economies. The International Air Transport Association was found in April 1945. It is the prime vehicle for inter-airline cooperation in promoting safe, reliable, secure and economical air services. The organization has contributed to the increase in my professional knowledge and abilities for the past years by having trainings about the process of improvement. IATA also has a certification program with a two years renewal of the course. It also provides you with a master guide book every year with all the guidelines and updates. This is a great organization that will provide you with the latest information on shipping dangerous goods by air internationally as well as domestically. It gives me the knowledge and skills to make sure product is shipped properly.
The International Air Transport Association has offered me a tremendous amount of knowledge and understanding in my career. When I have the training I am encouraged to better myself of what the product is and how to warn other of what could occur. When having my training session I need to think about what I am struggling with and how I can better my understanding of the training. When I complete the training course I take so much valuable information that I can use to better my professional and educate others. Through the training I educate myself on understanding the situation and how to handle the matter if one happens.
The effect of having a professional training on ones career may have many positive outcomes. These trainings will allow you to stay on top of things in the world and new techniques that can be applied to you professional always makes thing better. The more you understand your profession and the organization reasoning behind it will allow you to be better at what you do. This organization actually trains you on what the proper process for shipping dangerous goods and how it should be shipped. It give you and the people involved a better understanding of how, what or whom can be harm if the process in not correct.
