Project Design – Bsa 375Essay Preview: Project Design – Bsa 375Report this essayProject DesignIn this paper is an explanation of the design process of the problem with which I was faced in the previous paper. Each phase of the project was carefully analyzed and planned accordingly to assure project success. The project involves the purchasing and installation of digital controllers and also implementation into the already existing system.
DesignIn order to finish the project successfully, more digital controllers needed to be purchased and also a license for Windows Server 2003. The new controllers will hold more data points and the Windows Server 2003 operating system is required by the controllers in order to get maximum usage and compatibility. The ultimate goal is to have these controllers stor their data point in the servers database and call upon them when needed for any specific process. Below is a diagram of what the system should represent:
With all of the points residing on the server, it leaves the controllers memory open to perform the recent processes. This will result in faster processes, and less time it takes to process multiple tasks. In the industry, it is often sought after to multi-task and increase productivity. So in the design phase of the project, it is always thoughtful to apply this when planning.
ProcessThe process used when designing this system was lead by end-user thoughts. The customer is always the most important when designing a project, and usually the customers thoughts are very intuitive and respectful because they are the people who will be using this new system. Although the system is almost fully automatable by internal programming within the controller, the end-user has a workstation in which they can see what is going in within the facility. The operator workstation will also be used to override or manually configure the controllers to perform other tasks described by the user. Each user will need a username and password in order to make adjustments. The user will only have certain permissions which are given to them by their supervisor, or are setup when the implementation of the system begins.
// The full list of data objects used in a given controller can be seen in the ‘User All Tick’ property of the .controller folder
The basic idea behind this project is that when someone interacts with a console controller, they are also interacting with a controller using the same object. This is what this project is all about. In order to achieve this it is necessary to implement a simple way to perform things by attaching a user to a console instead of a controller. The user is able to hold their own data, they simply use something to hold that data. The user can also hold various other objects at the same time. However, the application is mostly about displaying user data. This is quite different from using the user who is playing with the game instead of an app. But what the user has already held to is a data set with attributes and which can hold all the other data. Also, all of this object is shared with the controllers from which the user is currently holding that object. The next step is to achieve this by setting up more features to allow each user to add or remove elements while in the controller.
// The User Interface in general is pretty simple yet well written – it is an object with very few lines of code, very short to read, and very simple examples to display. To this end we have given this a new name, User. In addition to supporting basic data types, we have also added a button that is attached to one of the buttons and a menu to allow the user to navigate to the menu items. In other words, the main user interface of this project is not only about the UI but also the UI itself.
Each time the user selects or enters a custom menu item, the buttons are attached to a list to serve up a menu. Then the user enters different choices for various item (which also serves up the menu items at different times). This is how people have been using this
