Project Executive Summary
This project comprises the planning, construction and grand opening of music club “White space”. The site will be situated in the center of the town of Pravets, 60 km away from the capital Sofia. The main goal of the executing company is to create and a modern club providing the best possible services and personnel in the area. “Pooh Entertainment” is responsible for the whole implementation of the project including planning, construction and development. The club will offer house and “black” music parties, prepared by the best Bulgarian DJs (permanently employed by the club) combined with VIP parties of guest foreign DJs. The visitors will be able to enjoy the most qualitative drinks, cocktails and snacks (hot cuisine wont be provided). The construction of the project will start on January 1, 2007 and the club is expected to welcome its first guests on January 1, 2008. The estimated cost of the whole project shouldnt exceed 2, 000 000 leva. The above estimations are based on the assumption that there wont be any significant delays in the construction schedule, the delivery dates, and the process of personnel recruitment. Among the risks that the project can encounter are: bad weather conditions combined with natural disasters, inability of the executing company to find and hire skillful personnel, constant objections by the neighbors related to noise and pollution.
Project Overview
Surveys made by the marketing department of “Pooh entertainment” Ltd, shows that the town of Pravets is the best location for the new music club of the company. According to the specialists this club in Pravets will be highly profitable for the owners and will bring considerable return on equity. The estimates are based on several reasons: First of all, the town is lacking enough entertaining places and actually the club will be the first and unique such in the whole area. The fact that there is a university and some high schools in the area makes us believe that the club wont be lacking visitors and turnover. The situation of the town is also beneficial- only 60 km away from the capital of the country Sofia, it is easily accessible due to the “Hemus” highway, which is connecting the two locations. So the transportation of guests, DJs, and supplies wont be problematic and is expected to be quiet affordable. The management of “Pooh entertainment” Ltd also believes that the club will bring some additional benefits to the town itself. The project will not only provide one more entertaining place but will also increase the employment rate in the area. Additionally the municipality will increase its cash inflows as a result of the incoming income and other taxes.
Project Objectives
As stated above the main objective of the projects is to create and develop new music club called “White space” in the town of Pravets, Bulgaria. The club should be able to provide enough profit for its owners together with sufficient improvements in the towns economics. The project needs to be finished for 1 calendar year, beginning on January 1, 2007 and ending on January 1, 2008. The costs of the project shouldnt exceed 2, 000 000 leva. The club will be constructed following all the quality control requirements of the European Union. The company will implement the highest standards for the completion of the project.
The Music club “White space” Project will meet the following objectives:
Create the best entertainment place in the area.
Satisfy the needs of the local teenagers and students.
Provide the best possible services and personnel.
Increase the employment in the town by hiring waiters, servers, and other personnel.
Improve the economics of the town by creating cash inflows and allocating capital under the form of income and other taxes.
Create sufficient profit margin and return on equity for its owners.
