Abstract The main purpose of this assignment is to study the strategic management that will be taken by the company in different industry and learn to analyse the financial report of the company. Our lecturer assigns our group to do financial industry. To have a clearly analyse and understand details about the strategic management taken by the financial industry, we had chosen Public Bank Berhad (PB) to define the strategic management taken by them and analyse their financial report. Firstly, we define the meaning of the financial industry and some of the information of the financial industry such as the trend of the financial industry in our assignment. Also, we provided the information about the company profile of the Public Bank Berhad (PB) such as company history, company background, logo, mission, philosophy, the board of director, company products and services, list of the company subsidiaries, and the major competitor of the company. In additional, we also provide financial analysis of the company such as the ratio analysis based on the financial annual report for 3 years. Then, we analyse the company through the SWOT analysis. We can know the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of this company. Also, we analyse the company by using the IFAS, EFAS, TOWS matrix in this assignment. Furthermore, we also provided the strategy recommendation based on the TOWS matrix. Lastly, we provided the conclusion to conclude the important information of the company that we had chosen.
