Genre Analysis of Virgin Galactic Space Tourism
The purpose of this paper is to refer to 2 genres that cover the topic of space tourism being developed by Virgin Galactic. I will be using editorial pieces and documentary photography as references.
Space tourism is an untamed frontier. As exciting as it may seem, it could also be potentially
dangerous. I would like to analyze what measures are in place to protect potential “tourist
astronauts” in this new era of space tourism that is quickly developing.
By the same token, I would also like to review the rewards of such space tourism. Details such
as length of the flight, price, location in the stratosphere, speed of the craft. I would also like
to give a brief overview of the stages of being a “tourist astronaut”, regarding how long a process this “space tour” is, from beginning to end of the space tour.
We will start with an overview of the billionaire founder Richard Branson and what steps he has taken
to ensure the success of this space tourism venture. We will review how many planes are in the fleet to take space tourists into subspace orbit in the stratosphere.
The location of the spaceport is near Uppham New Mexico, about 200 miles West of El Paso Texas.
I would also like to review the scheduled opening date of the Spaceport and what other clearances have to be attained for this Spaceport to be fully operational.
We will also review what arrangements must be made to be a space tourist. We will review any waivers that must be signed by space tourists, regarding loss of life and injury.
We also will review when this project started and why it was started by founder Sir
