Rationale for Fictional Product Packaging
The purpose of this project was to create a series of package designs for a single product.. I chose to create individual cupcake boxes for a fictional high-end bakery.
I knew before I began this project that I wanted to create something that was eye-catching, but also wanted to try my hand at working with a white, minimalist style of design. This attempt is seen on the cover of each box. The front of each box is almost entirely white, with some texture hinting through a series of vertical lines running down the top of each box. Another vital component to any successful brand.
There are two typefaces chosen to compliment the brand. Champagne & Limousines and Little Red Dress. Both fonts were chosen because they are unique and uncommon. This subtly reinforces the high-end brand as well as make the typography stand out. As the name Champagne
