Growing Dependence on Computers
ENGL 1301.342 December 2014Growing Dependence on ComputersComputer’s technology is becoming increasingly important to human. These technologies are assisting us in every aspect of our lives. Internet is both the fastest and most convenient way to access significant amounts of information. Computers are helping humans in forecasting weather and climatic changes. Real life simulations for drivers training are also examples of computer advances. Before technology was more heavily implementing into daily lives, humans faced destructive natural disasters that greatly damaged the properties and people lives. Nowadays, we are largely relying on computer technologies to simulate these climatic changes and then forecast the signs of any natural disasters or upcoming weather changes. The precise predictions and calculations of these artificial intelligences no doubt provide people with the fastest and most reliable information. We can easily find the forecast of the weather tomorrow simply by turning on our televisions or simply looking up the news on weather forecast channels through the internet.
Furthermore, forecasts are useful tools to save human kind more than we can ever imagine. Computer programs are implemented in space to measure the exact events of what is going on the outside of Earth. Computer calculations of meteorites’ pathways have been used to help scientists in deciding how to change the collisions of space objects towards the Earth. This has been saving our lives in the recent decades.Real life simulation is the most effective and realistic way in many fields especially training. Before simulations, teaching a driver how to drive could be a challenging task to both the teachers and learners.  However, the computer simulations can help to depict a real life situation where learners can safely learn to react to those situations. Learning can never be more exciting and helpful in this way. Computer has helped to provide modern learners the most effective and reliable way of studying.
