“Elliey, KaeDance, and Madeleine! Please gather your things and head to the office. You are leaving for the rest of the day,” Ms. James proclaimed. Elliey is one of three girls; triplets. She is a real tall girl, about five foot eight inches, with blonde hair and dark blue eyes. She is an exceptionally pretty girlie girl and does not care for sports. Her sister, KaeDance, is five foot three inches; she has black hair and light green eyes. She is extremely athletic and acts like a tomboy. The third sister, Madeleine, is a shy, sensitive girl; she really isnt involved in much. She is the runt of the three. She is four foot nine inches in height, with brown hair and brown eyes. She doesnt fit in anywhere or in any club; all we know is that she is a genius.

When the triplets got called to the office they were utterly confused. Why were they leaving school early; did they have plans that they forgot about? With some hesitation, the girls grabbed their belongings and headed to the office door. As they approached the thick, brown door surrounded by thin, cold concrete walls, you would never believe what they saw. They saw their real mother. “Since when does our real mother come and pick us up from high school? Yall two know that she doesnt care for us, not even a little bit,” KaeDance asked quietly so that Ashlyne, their mother, would not hear. When they built up the courage to walk through the office door, all they heard was an abrupt yelling that reminded them of their miserable childhood.

“Girls go get in the car right away! Go straight to the car without saying one single word! Is this understood?” The girls nodded and slowly made their way to their mothers old, rusty car. The office assistant made a face, but there was nothing this petite woman could do. When the girls approached the car, they got in and made worried faces to each other. Ashlyne got in the car, totally unaware that she had slammed the door, making as much ruckus as a bull in a china shop. “Your grandmother done gone and died on us, and dont you go and start crying on me now. I dont need any more stresses provided for me in this life.” Elliey, KaeDance, and Madeleine all started to weep in a silent manner. The triplets were absolutely devastated. What were they going to do now? Their Grandma Adoete was the only person in the world who had ever cared for them or truly loved them individually. She was their main caretaker. She fed them dinner every night, gave them a roof over their heads, and even helped them with those really hard questions on Monday nights homework. The girls knew that was their mothers job, but she had never cared for them. She had never laid one ounce of love upon these poor, abandoned children.

While making their way to the dreaded hospital, they felt a strong wave of despair crash upon each of their bodies. When they actually arrived at the hospital, the feeling got much, much worse. After they noticed their mother getting flirty with the male nurse at the front desk, they knew that she had not one care in the whole wide world. They were all sitting in the room where their grandmother had passed, when they heard their names from the hallway. They slowly crept toward her as she stood in the hallway waiting; her body language told them that she was an angry fire pit sitting, waiting for the right people to lash her fire upon. “Why are yall just sitting there like a bunch of dead beets? Get to work now! Start packing up her stuff so we can go find her will. For my convenience, do any of you know where the will is?”

“Why does is matter Ashlyne,” Elliey asked in a rude manner, “she doesnt have much left considering that she had to care for us from our birth, unlike you.” Ashlyne made an aggravated facial expression. The girls all had a feeling that she was going to lash another bolt of fire again.

“Elliey I am your mother; you shall call me Mom. I dont care what we are talking about, you will call me Mom or else. You Grandma Adoete always walked around in my presence like she was hiding something as if she had a secret. I am going to find her will and figure out what it is whether you help me or not!” All three of the girls knew where the will was, they just did not want the mother to find it. They never could figure out what was in the will, but they had been dying to know. “Come on girls, it is time for us to leave this hospital. We need to head off to Grandma Adoetes house.” All four of them loaded into Ashlynes car and headed off to the grandmas house. After arriving, Ashlyne went straight inside the house and started going through everything. She destroyed the house like Hurricane Katrina destroyed the coast. She had searched everywhere, or at least that is what she thought.

“I know yall know where the will is, and imma gonna get it outta you! Elliey where is it?”
“I dont know maam.”
“KaeDance where is it?”
“I have no idea. You are capable of finding it yourself.”
“That is no way to talk to your mother. I am getting a tad bit angry. Madeleine, sweetheart, do you know where it is?”
“No maam,” Madeleine said with a terrified expression on her face. The girls knew why their mother had been sweet to Madeleine, but it did not work this time.

After their mother threatening them and following through with her statements, she finally got it out of the three children. This shows how successful she was; she had to use abuse to get her way. “Are you happy now mother?” KaeDance said with a non-powerful tone. The girls had told her that the grandma kept her will in the VCR.
