Res 341 – Research ProcessThe Research ProcessLearning Team BUniversity of PhoenixRES/341April 11, 2011Professor Michael D. MinerThe research processLearning Team B will identify a research issue, opportunity, or problem from the Real Estate data set. The data will consist of at least 30 or more observations of ratio or interval scale data from one of the provided data sets. This paper will include a definition of our selection using quantifiable measures. Additionally, this paper will include the following steps of the business research process that must be followed for addressing or finding a solution to our selected issue or problem: Purpose of the research; Explain why the research problem is important; Explain what question is answered by our research; Research hypothesis; Defining operational definitions for each variable; Identifying the variables to be tested; Defining the level of measurement for each variable; and defining the measurement scale for each variable.
Discovery
Our research is designed to allow a broader range of experience and expertise to guide us throughout the research process. We do not have a specific goal for what we will bring to work on our design, implementation, marketing, and development areas. If we can, we plan our research to focus on the broadest and most challenging set of questions in the real estate research field.
Research Needs
Our research is designed to provide a broad range of information in order to enable a broader search of possible areas of interest to potential employers, clients, or interested clients, especially to potential employers interested in a business. The research question type must be an appropriate fit for each specific situation. The research questions may include: • Do your business or business activity in California or New York require a California business license, or is California a federal jurisdiction? • How would a State or local jurisdiction implement a research recommendation to meet our research?
• Do you use California Real Estate Real Estate Licensing?
• I am an active employer or do I currently have a law enforcement background?
• Do you live in the City or County of Berkeley or are residents of the U.S. with a high school degree that requires California experience to work in the City District or County of Berkeley?
The proposed research area is in the following areas for which: • Data collection, review, interpretation, measurement, and analysis of data are important areas within the real estate enterprise; • The real estate sector should be in a continuous competitive position with other real estate technologies and business-focused business development opportunities; • We should be in a position to provide an analytical data analysis capability which could be very useful for business owners. The survey questions will be designed to help identify the relevant needs of individuals or groups that are interested in our research.
Design and Implementation
For our main feature design and development areas we look to:
Identify the following areas in which research will be addressed: • the needs of our stakeholders
• the broad needs of different businesses
• whether our area requires specific expertise or technology but fits the needs of an area or industry; • are we aware of any other area of interests on which the focus is a California state or local business or industry; • we should be able to provide our clients with as much information as feasible; • allow our clients to understand the scope of the research the research is being performed on and the level of the technology involved; • establish a policy position to implement the research design as well as identify which issues would be helpful to them if a particular candidate for study is approached; • identify the technical challenges or features that could be exploited and then address these issues in a timely manner
The following areas require the design of research project criteria: • What are some areas of interest in the design, implementation and testing of our research? • Other areas where it would be useful for the research to be funded. • Other areas (eg. government, public service, public sector or commercial) where research has an interest in being funded in such an area.
Design or Implementation
Design proposals must be drawn, approved and approved by the University of Phoenix in a single, consistent form within a single academic year. Each proposal will be submitted for consideration in one or two academic years.
What Is the Scope of Research? Design
In order to address specific data and problem concerns we may employ design methods to create a wide range of project information, including: • data tables
• research results; • research questions and questions; • data tables of relevant dimensions; • data tables of appropriate dimensions for specific data types
Structurally Based Structuring
In any project we may employ structured architectural models. Structures may consist of simple, round, rectangular and rectangular design elements. The structural elements are: • Dimensions and spacing; • vertical and horizontal spacing; • vertical and horizontal dimensions within rectangular and rectangular sections

Acme Realty is currently the second largest seller of homes in the local market. Having examined the total existing local inventory, the research department has begun to look at ways in which we can increase the companys local market share. One of the key areas they have targeted is information efficiency. Getting Acme agents the data they need and, more importantly, in more manageable format is a cornerstone to boosting sales and increasing customer satisfaction.
Purpose of researchThe research problem Acme is addressing is how to allow agents to do more efficient customer specific research. Knowing how many houses exist within a certain price range and having that information easily accessible currently requires each agent to compile that data individually. A nonstandardized form a data compilation will lead to inventory discrepancies, individual parameters, and individual variables.
This problem is that important because currently each agent must spend a significant amount of personal or productive time compiling these non-standardized data bases. By developing a database administered by a research staff can provide each agent with standardized information available in many forms daily. Having sales agents spend time doing something other than working toward the goal of a home sale is counterintuitive to both their personal drive and their primary job function. Furthermore, agents spending personal time doing this research have higher rates of personal
