Rich to Poor People Problems
People go through things on a day to day basis. Rich to poor people have problems of their own. They could be having such as financial problems, house problems, and family issues but they should never want to show those issues through body language, facial expressions or the way they communicate with people. In such wise Maya Angelou stated that ” I’ve learned that when I have pains, I don’t have to be one” which in my understanding means because someone is going through the pain they don’t have to take that pain and become it. Pain is a sign of weakness and when people such as enemies or miserable human being that doesn’t want to see others happy so when someone is struggling they enjoy it or get a thrill out of it. Especially people with success or that is in the public eye. They enjoy seeing them fail because they aren’t at the level they expected to be at in life. People being evil and hateful is them wearing their pain about the things they could’ve controlled. Start off life with a strong mindset at a young age so you won’t become the pain when you become an adult.
I’ve had many painful things happen in my lifetime so far. I’ve experienced death in my family at a young age, being homeless with my mom and sister, having to live with my grandma until we found another house, walking in the snow with my mom and sister to get to school because we didn’t have a car. I use to be angry all the time about the things that were happening to me at the moment. School was hard because being around kids at school didn’t make no the situation better because kids would bully other kids about things they had that kid didn’t have. They never bullied me but I still felt some type of way because deep down inside I knew what was going on at home. I use to be mean to everyone and I was disrespectful to teachers. I started slacking in school for a while.
Eventually, things got better because my mom didn’t sleep until she got help to get us back where we were but as I got older and started understanding more about having a future my whole demeanor changed 8th-grade year. I use to show every emotion I was feeling through my facial expressions, how I talked to others and through my body language. Pain is a sign of weakness and me showing every emotion I let people see me weak. One day a teacher pulled me aside and told me “never be your emotions because you always want to have a strong poker face to show your guard isn’t down”. After that talk with that teacher, I started getting better at wearing my strong poker face. Know as a 10th-grade student I know better so I do better. People would never know what I’m going through because I learned to never become a pain when I’m experiencing pain.
I have a greater understanding about life know that I’m older. I have better goals from when I was in third grade so of course, my attitude changed and I deal with my pains better. I might slip up from time to time but I try not to become my pain because a lot of students in school want to see me fail and I’m
