Brainstorm Case
Prewriting: April 28, 2014 I started to brainstorm about the way I wanted to craft my cover letter, resume, and Thank you letter. I tried to imagine as if I was really going to submit this to a manager to get a job and it helped me to become a little more serious in my writing. This is not my first time to create these 3 documents as I have been in the corporate world for over ten years but it was a way for me to reflect and update some of my existing professional documents. I think that this allowed me to review and reflect on way I could make these 3 documents better for my professional career.
Rough Draft: April 28, 2014 I finished my rough draft for the assignment and I asked my family to allow me to read my papers and to give me feedback on how I could word things differently or if they saw a need for improvement in my papers. After reading my assignment to them I went back and made some revisions to my works and re read them aloud one final time.
Revisions: April 29, 2014: After giving a day to reflect on my assignment I came home and made some changes to the wording I used in my papers and added a few more things that I had thought about over my work day. I then read the papers and asked my husband to read them one final time. After we both reviewed and I made some minor edits my papers were ready for submission.
Final paper submission: April 29, 2014 submitted my final paper to the blackboard and I started preparing to take the final exam for this course as I knew I would need to aggressively study for the final exam.
