In addition to losses in operating revenues, Samsung is losing its brand image, so it needs a strong strategy to overcome this crisis. As a first step, Samsung should strengthen its management or leadership. It should hire an expert specialized in phone operations; they need to address the root cause of the problem. It might be related to design and circuit board, so it is related to other suppliers such as General Electric. Samsung should focus on enhancing product safety for consumers by making significant changes in its quality assurance process following criticism of poor communication and a slow response to consumer complaints seeking to regain their consumers trust.Samsung have to be innovative to regain their market share; they have to reduce the cost of phone significantly and come up with something new; which is a big challenge to them.  They should focus on other flagship models such as its Galaxy S series; and motivate customers to buy them using promotions, ads, discounts. Actually Samsung said on Thursday it would offer a 100$ credit for US customers who buy Samsung smartphone; which might be a good step due to Samsung’s dominance of the high-end Android smartphone market.In addition to working on steadying the mobile business, Samsung should also be focusing on increasing the electronics sales such tvs, washing machines, and different home appliances.  Profits from increased sales of TV displays and memory chips can make up for the note7n shortfall.
